the bio-helmet is still too small.
the mandibles are touching the mask and the dreads arent lined up, meaning that the bio-helmet would still stick out farther.

1. the crown line on one picture continues on another layer; as well as cheeks line; and dreads are of same width/rings have same size.
2. dreads will never be lined up on that pic because suit shot has his head down and movie shot predator looks straight ahead. and bendy things bend to the ground.
3. the overall has exactly movie proportions.

p.s. sometimes i think that you didn't notice that it is only lower half of the helmet...
...or you simply don't like the short face of P1.

As I have already tried to explain it to you: to be able to argue about these things, you need:
- Views of complete profiles for the 2 images to compare (otherwise any bad estimation of the dimensions is easily made)
- Pictures of good enough quality so that we can see clearly

On your GIF, I can tell you that you are not properly seated between the different images (look closely at the roots of dreads: they do not coincide). In addition your example shows only a portion of the head and mask, and I do not speak of the fact that it is all in the dark.

I do not say you're wrong or that you're right... We simply can not demonstrate something with a such theory, because in this case I could easily prove to you that the pyramids of Cairo are not bigger than a man standing.
Although the language barrier does not really help me, do you see what I want to tell you?

Thierry, I think the language barrier is near non-existent in your post, cause I perfectly understand what your trying ( and did) to tell.

The dread roots are, from my point of view, clearly drawn 0.5 - 1mm in direction downwards to the back, which absolutly, again for me, shows that the dimensions are incorrect, cause the front is on the right part, but the back and top is not and the position, too.

Sorry, P...don´t wanna ruin it for ya and I, sure as others, appreciate the fact that you wanna help getting the mask perfect, but I guess your still about 30-25% away from finally proving your point.

Well, as that goes, I think I will not recieve my order before I left for a few days and visit my mother to spend Christmas with "family" (from December 10 to 15, for those who failed news)...
This time I ordered the silicone in quantity (more than I need, but one must better be careful... Especially during the holiday season when that's often the bazaar) and I took the opportunity to add silicone oil, which has the effect of thinning the silicon during casting, thereby limiting the creation of bubbles.
So I'll get my package at the post office when I return in order to finish the mold and start copies quickly.
In the meantime, here's a snapshot of the base in plastiline that I've refined.

Looks exellent!!!

Cannot wait to get this and finally have an accurate Predator 1.

I added the light up feature to the exclusive helmet and had shaved the inside of the mask here and there to make it fit better. To some extent, it does make a big difference....

But with this one Baloo, it will definately make it a million times better.
