WoW. All this for just 1 mold. So you actually have to wait 2 days just for 1 mold to be ready?

By the way, the symmetry of the mask isn't affected right?

@viruss777:
No, I don't need only 2 days to make a mold:
you must first make the base in plastiline (which, when removed, will become the second part of the mold) with the cone casting, vents, gasket and lugs sampler slot.
Then, you build a box around. You pour silicone and you wait until the end of the polymerization (15-24 hours). After that, you pour a casing of plaster over (this allows the silicone does not deform).
Once the dry plaster, remove the plasticine not forgetting to leave at the cone casting and at the vents. It then starts the same procedure as for the first part (silicone and plaster). So, to make a mold, it takes at least 4 days to get it right...
There, I lost 2 days... But hey, that's okay: it is not the end of the world. :wink1:

@taylerdurdem:
Haha... Not enough, you see, because I have to make it again!
... But thank you my friend! :1-1:

Looks amazing baloo! Sorry to hear about the loss of 2 days (and silicone), but it sounds like things are on track for the most beautiful 1/6 predator bio EVER.

baloo, the thing that interests me a lot is the color you will use.
could you please post a reference photo to see what tints it will have? will you keep HT painting (grey/black), use tylerdurdem's painting (silver metal) or something else?

Silver? Of course, yep :exactly:
About symmetry:
That could happen if the mold was poorly designed... But I do my best to make it irreproachable, you know... hehe :D
The silicone as well as the resin which are used can render shapes to the micron near...

Screen shots movie reference, my friend... :wink1:
with dots and sags and so on?
if you do, you'll surely have to make a P2 helmet, too %)

But based on your reference pictures on the graph background, you spent so much effort on making it even and symmetrical. The mold will still have risk ruining your perfect symmetry? :(

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Am I too late to get two helmets, a completely painted with lightning battle damaged and a completely painted with lighning non-battle damaged, Mr. Balloo, sir?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

:lol ... Too late? Noooo:you'll just have to be more patient than others, hehe!
But no problemo: pre-registered, my friend :wink1:
