Man, glad I didn't miss it. I've been checking BBTS everyday, and just checked a little while ago. Must have went up just after I had checked last time. I actually went on again to check and saw it and PO'd it, then came here to post only to realize it was up almost an hour ago!!

I passed on the 1st release due to the price before seeing pictures. I thought it was pricey, but I didn't realize the size of it. I've had several Bandai SOC GX figures over the years, and other's (Aoshima, Yujin), and never paid over $125 for them. So I felt this seemed rather expensive. Plus I stopped collecting them after having kids and sold most off. But I've always been a fan since I was a kid of Giant Robot's.

I still have the original Bandai GoDaikin Golion from the early 80's (1982) I bought as a kid from a Toy & Hobby shop. Couldn't bring myself to sell it, even though it goes for around $1k. I paid $35 back then and I used my own money for it as I was saving up. Which was a lot back then for an 11 year old. I bought it before Voltron was even on TV. Just thought it looked bad ass...

So, what sold me on this was when I saw pictures of it with the original. When I saw how amazing it was and pretty much the same size as the original I had tohave it. But prices already started to rise. Been waiting ever since to pick up a reissue...

I never used toydojo before, has there ever been issues where they cant fill pre-orders?

eddie over at the dojo goes ABOVE and beyond to make his customers happy. never had a single issue in years using him. actually has a store so you can pick up your wares as well if you are local. they are a legit place.

It's out of stock at Toy Dojo now too. I forwarded the info to a friend who missed BBTS, and was just able to get one.

I almost PO'd another one, as I have the HT IW Dr. Strange Po'd with BBTS and not sure if I am keeping my PO. And since BBTS is known for punishing people who cancel Po's I didn't want to take a chance and lose my Voltron because they put me on their naughty list...

As has been mentioned previously, Amazon Japan hasn’t put this up yet. Not sure if they will. Going to have to contact them this week to find out.

I ordered from a third party seller for ¥42k which was a bit high but the cheapest I found online and I could cancel up to June 17th if I found a cheaper price.

Got an email this morning from Amazon telling me that the seller had to cancel the item because said seller could not fulfill the order within 30 days, even though this was abundantly clear from the fact it was listed as a preorder.

Check online and see that the seller has it listed again for the same release date but now the price is ¥53k. Interesting since my order was canceled due to the seller being unable to fulfill the order within 30 days.

I’m going to lodge a complaint with Amazon today regarding the seller and demand my previous preorder be reinstated or that seller no longer be allowed to have an Amazon listing moving forward. Really shady crap.
