I almost PO'd another one, as I have the HT IW Dr. Strange Po'd with BBTS and not sure if I am keeping my PO. And since BBTS is known for punishing people who cancel Po's I didn't want to take a chance and lose my Voltron because they put me on their naughty list...

I heard they only get feisty if you cancel the po after getting the10 day notice. As much as i like to no deposit po if there is a naughty and nice list id rather them just take a deposit po... that said im glad i got my po in for this thing at BBTS.

As has been mentioned previously, Amazon Japan hasn’t put this up yet. Not sure if they will. Going to have to contact them this week to find out.

I ordered from a third party seller for ¥42k which was a bit high but the cheapest I found online and I could cancel up to June 17th if I found a cheaper price.

Got an email this morning from Amazon telling me that the seller had to cancel the item because said seller could not fulfill the order within 30 days, even though this was abundantly clear from the fact it was listed as a preorder.

Check online and see that the seller has it listed again for the same release date but now the price is ¥53k. Interesting since my order was canceled due to the seller being unable to fulfill the order within 30 days.

I’m going to lodge a complaint with Amazon today regarding the seller and demand my previous preorder be reinstated or that seller no longer be allowed to have an Amazon listing moving forward. Really shady crap.

i read that NY had done the same thing... cancelling out pre orders that had been secured only to up the price and put it back up. some big time BS!!

There goes the notion that the 2nd run will be cost efficient for those that missed the initial release. Heck, the hype, the sold out pre-orders... speaks volumes. Glad I was checking in on here as much I did to land one. Good luck to all!

And I'm sure a lot of people who owned the 1st release may be buying a 2nd to have the Lions with Voltron, or buying a 2nd with the hopes to flip it later for a profit.

Happy I got my original. Prices for this new one probably won´t get too high, without Diecast and instead the original will rise even higher.

The new one is just a reissue of the first one and will have diecast. If anything they tend to make improvements the 2nd time around so the older one might drop in value in that scenario

Thank you so so much for reposting that. I checked a few minutes before you did when it was sold out and was bummed that I missed it. Glad I decided to hang around the thread last night BBTS does have a habbit of randomly throwing a piece or two back up for pre-order (picked up more than a couple of pre-sold out hot toys over the years this way), so I'll probably keep checking there as well, just to hedge my bet.

Not sure, but if you go back a few pages, there’s a picture showing Gx-88 is Voltron I. Doesn’t have a release date though.
