So ^^^^ing cool.

:rock

ahh ok,no biggie for me really, handgun for bank robber and a machine gun for V1 Joker,i dont need more.

That's something they could've added with the v.1 Joker. Same with the machine gun. Luckily we get that machine gun with the BR Joker. Most people will either use the knife, handgun with extended clip or the machine gun so the shotgun isn't really needed. But it would be cool.. I guess you could search for one on EBay or somewhere. Might have to mod it. Good luck.

I think my BR Joker is waiting for me at the Post Office! :banana

So I just have one question that I'm sure has been asked already... is it easy to remove the Joker V1 head and to put the Joker V2 head on the V1 body?

I plan to do this straight away... as well as tweak the V1 Joker clothes.

Cheers,

I don't know about the Bank Robber Joker because I don't have him yet, but the V1 head pops right off easily. Just sort of pull and twist at an angle and it should come right off, no heat necessary.

I came to find the BR heads seem to hold tighter to the post, you actually are more likely to pop the adapter off the body than the head off the adapter.

Fortunately, I had a spare post and since you don't see it, I put that on my v2 head, left the BR head on the BR post and the v1 head on the v1 post.

Whatever you do with the heads, easiest thing to do with the BR heads is just leave them on a post and swap out the whole thing if you want to change them.

I was surprised by the clown mask being soft rubber, I was expecting hard plastic, gets a much nicer fit to the head this way though.

So, just popping the entire post out of the body is OK? If so, is this just with the Hot Toys figures, or the Sideshow ones, too?

I ask because I was trying to switch out one of my Sideshow Han heads with my extra Indy head yesterday for the hell of it, but it felt like the entire post was coming off instead of just the head, so I didn't do it.

I'm not at all familiar with how these things are put together.

Thanks for the posts! :peace

So does the V1 head and the BR head fit onto the same style neck post on the V1 body and the BR body?

Or do I need an 'adapter' - which has been mentioned?

My plan was to pop the V1 head off and stick the moody BR head on the V1 body. Then use the grinning BR head on the BR body - with mask on or in hand.

They use the same neck post, that is what most people are planning to do anyway.

Correct.

The Hot Toys True Type body their figures come on has only one method of connecting necks to the body.

In the torso, there's a hole for the neck and inside is a ball joint. You can either attach a neck adapter, which Joker uses because his neck is sculpted, or the neck piece from non-sculpted neck figures to this ball joint.

Both Joker figures use the exact same neck setup.

So, just popping the entire post out of the body is OK? If so, is this just with the Hot Toys figures, or the Sideshow ones, too?

Hot Toys and Sideshow's new bodies only. Sideshow's Buck body has a spring mechanism to it and if you manage to get the part the heads connect to off, you're pretty much screwed and can't get it back on.

I actually just bought the bank robber head off of ebay and then put it on my version 1 joker it did not need an adapter at all. I must say though that i have swapped out heads before and putting the bank robber head on my version 1 joker was actually pretty hard. I had to push it on there pretty good. But gotta say it looks great

my post always comes out inside the head, i thought i needed some adapter too, being new to 1/6th and all. i took the head of v1 and the post was inside the head, then off BR and it stayed on the body, LOL i didnt really noticed there was a post there at all and i was like wtf, how do i click it onto the body. about .5seconds later i figured it out, of course, felt like a ^^^^ though :p
Awesome pics maulfan btw, more more
