My Vampirella collection is a thing unto itself, unrelated to Baroness.
I'm getting Baroness because I'm a fan, not because she's a hot badass. I'm getting her in 1:4 scale because she's a hot badass, but I wouldn't get her at all if that's all she was. I'll get Catwoman for the same reason.
The rest of those Marvel chicks...
...don't care. If there was one character I'd get based on that criteria, it would be Darth Talon, but it wasn't motivation enough when she was affordable, and it sure as hell isn't motivation enough now.
She would be a smokin' companion piece to Baroness though.

I finally scrounged up enough cash for the Deposit on this. Will get it deposited tonight to make a payment on the old credit card. I found it a bit difficult to get it (Christmas broke me). Good thing my Boss LOVES G.I. Joe I found out. I showed her the piece online and she said there is no way your missing out on this for $35 and she loaned me the money saying I don't have to pay her back until sometime in January! She actually wouldn't take "No" for an answer!

I wish she had more switch out options, but I like the options of both guns, I will probably display the reg, but I like the MAC, and if the silencer comes off, that would be really cool.

Now I've never read a single comic or story featuring Darth Talon so I really don't know squat about the character but I definitely never got a "GI Joe Baroness Companion Piece" vibe from her. Interesting.

I agree. As bad as Rogue was you at least had the option to put her head in a little box "Se7en"-style and easily ship it out to be repainted. Baroness' fixed head and glasses are going to be a nightmare to fix if they screw it up.

If the Baroness' head was a switch out option, it would be a no brainer for me to remain Elite in the line, as I prefer the slightly updated square glasses look for her.
Glad I never pulled the trigger on canceling my preorder on the CC exclusive. Although we have already seen SS extend the courtesy of putting someone's deposit right back on the same order...

Sorry, slightly off topic, but is that the final solution Sideshow provided (I stopped following the Rogue thread)? I sold my Rogue EX. While the heads weren't as atrociously bad as some of the ones posted here (I thought they were pretty good actually, good enough for me to consider keeping the piece), if Sideshow was providing free repaints, I might have considered it.
No Sideshow definitely wasn't offering that themselves.

From what I understand, they're having the factory paint up replacement heads. Was that BS?
I guess I don't know. I just assumed people could send their heads back like any figure and then you just get whatever they have on hand as an extra as a replacement. I didn't know they were really repainting them to look better. That's awesome if they are.

Well, I own ANH Leia, and Baroness would make a good companion piece to her too. White, black; good, evil; innocent, not.
However, Talon's red and black next to Baroness's black and red, and both being evil, and both being not...they'd hit it off, I bet. It's not like I'm getting any other G.I.Joe PF's. Besides, Star Wars and G.I.Joe go together like Star Wars and G.I.Joe. I thought that was obvious.
