Well, I own ANH Leia, and Baroness would make a good companion piece to her too. White, black; good, evil; innocent, not.

From the email I got from SS, they are waiting on replacement heads from the factory which said it should be in Dec, but I don't mind waiting longer if they come out like the proto, I need a whole replacement though, the body had paint imperfections and the base had rubs, also hopefully they fix the problem of the neck on the reg going all the way in.

true, I really still want one, I thought about that after I posted...but it will be awhile before it happens, I am thinking of commissioning a 1:2 scale based on my avatar pic...with a few changes, but a few other things I need to do first.

I was perusing the gallery images one last time before confirming my order with the dealer. Just checking out the nail, paint apps on the prototype up close, choice of weapons, etc. There is no way production is going to match those lips and eyes. But we can always keep hope.
The one thing that struck me was that this time, I got a very Nicole Kidman vibe, especially from some of the angles where the Baroness is looking down and to the right very deeply. I guess its my love of Kubrick's last film, and Kidman's glasses in that film.

It will sell out eventually it got way more interested people than CC and the exc sold out, and it even made the doubters order a CC. The exc will sell out easily, the reg's might take awhile, depending on the es, which is good cuz I want extras, at least 2 reg for customs.

It was only a dream. But no, sometimes items sell out at Sideshow when the edition is still TBD. Which has made me wonder about the process myself. Like is there some mythical number locked in there which can be adjusted theoretically only if they still have the TBD up there, and dependent upon interest. Waning interest would warrant a lower edition size, and larger interest would warrant a larger edition size. Although in a few cases they have gone ahead and upped the edition size after publishing a set size. One I know of for sure is the Aliens maquette, from 600, up to 750. Sometimes too, they lower the edition size, or only make the number around what were actually ordered, like on the Universal diorama line, where the piece still shows the intended number, but there really aren't that many of them out there...
