After seeing the poor excuse for the EX, checked out the regular prices in the UK.

Batman and Superman I can understand the higher price but Batgirl...seriously?

Might be time for me to pick up a couple of "must haves" and call it a day on this hobby.
If this is the price benchmark for DC premium formats I think I've just been priced out of collecting.

I think the price, the weak EXs, and the humongous ES, have made me a "non first day PO" from here on out. Why order day one when you can get it for $20 cheaper a couple months later? I suppose if you MUST have it as soon as it ships, then sure. Or if you go with reward points, makes sense. I probably won't PO day one unless it's something I really feel strongly about ordering day one...perhaps Boba PF and Vader PF will be day one. But BG and PG will probably not be since they will both be $400 with "swap out hairs" as EXs.

I'd thought the same & expected the UK price to be lower than that but as the saving will be about £20 I'll be going with SS again & getting the Ex
I know it's REALLY weak but for the tiny saving it's still a nice option...even if it never gets taken out of the box

Might be something to do with the pound getting lower to the dollar?

If you don't order soon, might workout the same price if the exchange rate drops even more, with shipping and custom charges.

Yes and unless theyre giving us what that other certain brand new Asian 1-4 statue company is giving us, it is time for me to spend $200 more for a piece and get a reasonably low ES and actually amazing paint and interchangeable parts. Supes, CW, and maybe WW may be my last PF SS pieces for a long time. I know nothing about Boba Fett, never seen a Star Wars movie, but when I saw his PF price today, it was clear to me that it is getting close to move on... just imo and SS is still great just too pricey to me for what you get.

It,s true CBG. Sideshwo does amazing work but by next year PFs will be $500 and I would rather spend $650 on XM piece with low es and amazing paint. Hope I am wrong and that the increase isnt happening so quick.

for example, the ww ex will cost me around 650-700 usd and I expect the same for batgirl.

If sideshow still increases their price, Xm will become a better option for me when they get the Dc license. Xm QC and accessory are all better IMO.

Dont get me wrong, I still love Sideshow products, I ordered batgirl WITH THE CHANGE OF HAIR 2mins after she came up! lol

hope Sideshow hear this and show some love for foreigners by improve their products also the Ex!

Just got my PO in for this at Alter Ego. I could live without the EX head. Can't wait to get this and I'm now thinking of starting a Bat family assuming they make a Nightwing and Tim Drake Robin or even Red Robin.

I've been saying that, pointless for SS to ship their exc to California, then back to Asia again. It's not like they actually qc the product when it arrives in Cali.

WW is my last PO with SS. Until they can prove they have improved their qc, no more PO.
