Look at that maximum security section with all those cells to house the super villains in. I'm not going to bet or anything, but I can see Joker being in one of them by the end of the game, taunting the hell out of you. Everything is pointing to him having some kind of role in the game, other than "HE'S DEAD, THE OTHER VILLAINS ARE RUNNING A MUCK". Joker is as much apart of these Arkham games as Batman. It's been that way since day 1.

Asylum - *gasp* Joker planned this Asylum situation, oh **** did he just take the Titan drug and hulk out!!
City - Joker is sick and infected Batman, *gasp* he's healthy *gasp* no he's not *gasp* he's Clayface *gasp* he's dead!!!
Origins - it's Christmas, Black Mask is the main villain, *gasp* no he's not, *gasp* it was all the Joker, this is his origin!!!!

Knight - he's cremated, that's it!!!


Yeah, I don't think so. Rocksteady clearly had Knight in mind with Azrael's prophetic messages about Batman's doom, all of the back and forth chit chat from the thugs about the Joker and what really happened to him (which kind of mirrors the debates people are having about the subject), and all the other things that are coming to fruition. It's a game based on a comic. Every Arkham game is the Joker stringing the player along and ****ing with them, why would this one be any different at the end?

They really should've made every instalment as "What if?" or "Meanwhile, on Earth-N" scenario, with no direct links to each other.

Firefly is a very cool character, just wasn't treated well outside of CBs.

Technically Joker is in this, he's being cremated at the beginning of the game. All of the villains uniting against Batman is because of his death, so he's still kind of plays apart in the story, but I that that'll be it.

I can accept the whole "the Batmobile tases them out of the way" thing as video game logic, but how the **** are they supposed to survive Batman driving over them while they're knocked out?

RS confirmed Joker will not really be in this outside of some things, due to AO's treatment of Joker in particular. So I take their word, they're not like Kojima with deceiving us all for publicity

I imagine the most we'd see of Joker is a flash back. Or one last big trick set up previously before he died.
