I might be wrong, but I don't think Batwoman exists in the Arkham-verse otherwise we've gotten hints by now.

Never realised they were diferent characters.

P.S ****** i love the art in her comics!

I Hope the City of Gotham is not like Origins "Empty" ..

i know in Arkham knight the city is evacuated but i hope it doesnt look like Origins which to me looked like a Big Prison city like Arkham city .

Yeah, Barbara Gordon was Batgirl at some point in the Arkham-verse until she got shot in the spine by the Joker. Kathy Kane is/was Batwoman. No indication so far that she is canon to the Arkham series though.

If the Arkhamverse is following the Comic universe in time line structure, the current Batgirl would most likely be Cassandra Cain.

Given that Tim Drake is Robin, Barbara is Oracle, and Grayson is Nightwing. She was and will always be my favorite incarnation of Batgirl.

Batwoman is Kathy Kane. She is technically not a member of the Batfamily. Not like the others. She doesn't answer to Bruce in any way.

It's taking elements from the Timmverse Animated Series and the Post Crisis universe, but not sticking to any one timeline structure. The current Batgirl in the main comics continuity (new 52) is once again Barbara Gordon.

Yeah, and that remains a stupid decision. Barbara being given back the use of her legs is/was a horrible idea. It basically undermines the greatness of A Killing Joke. Joker shot her, she couldn't walk for a while, and now she's Batgirl again. It was always awesome how she refused to let what happened to her stop he from being a part of the team. Her working with Cass was excellent. And while i think Gail Simone is writing an excellent book with new 52 Batgirl, DC screwed the pooch by not leaving her as Oracle. Oh well, they finally decided to let Stephanie out of her cage, maybe they will eventually let Cass out to rejoin her family. If you won't give me back Damian as Robin, I would gladly accept Cassandra Cain as the next Robin!

I feel the same way. I like some of the new costume designs, and there are some great stories being written in the new-52, but there was no reason we couldn't get new costumes and great stories under the regular post-crisis continuity. I'm not too keen on the new-52, or reboots, or the un-doing of things the characters experience to return to some simpler status quo. Let consequences stand and write great stories anyway. Ending the Lois & Clark \ Peter & MJ marriage...bringing Jason Todd back from the dead, putting Barbara back in the cowl...all un-doings that writers should have accepted and dealt with instead. I'd hate to be a comic book writer and know that because the characters belong to the company and not to you, at anytime they want they can reboot and erase what you did, not matter how good it was.

As someone who loved both A Death in the Family, and Under the Red Hood, I don't mind Jason coming back. Because his death had consequences, and his resurrection had consequences. But take Morrison killing off Damian. Scott Snyder has already shown us Bruce working with Harper Row(stupid character). Why?? I just cannot believe that Bruce would EVER allow anyone to join him after watching his only child die. He went mental after Jason died. I just don't see him allowing anyone new to join the group. I could see him breaking up the group. He would not train a new sidekick.
And now they just killed Grayson in Forever Evil
I just don't see how he would allow anyone to join his mission. Plus it all undermines each other. There is no weight to any of this happening because we all know it will be changed. The only permanent deaths in comics will be The Waynes and Uncle Ben.

Despite the consequences, I'd have rather they let Jason Todd stay dead. I understand it's comics so things like characters coming back from death are par for the course, but in general, I don't want characters coming back from the dead unless some form of immortality is already central to their character from the beginning (like Ra's Al Ghul or Vandal Savage). You want to kill a mortal character, fine....let 'em stay dead.

I want to run around Arkham Island or whatever it is as NightWing or Robin or Batwoman. Couldn't care less about playing as Harley

Me too. I would like a co-occurring side story for Robin/Nightwing. Or heck let's just have an entire campaign for Nightwing. :rock

Yep, I hope they announce Nightwing as having a role like Catwoman did in Arkham City... where we will get to play as him for a few chapters.

I just hope they make the riddler trophies harder to find. They were a joke in AC, and even worse in origins.

I'd rather go back to AA's system of Riddler Clues and reasonably hidden trophies. I hated the acrobatic and timing trophies in AC & AO. But it sounds like AK will be closer to AC/AO's system.

I am curious as to what The Riddler's role will be relegated to. Are his challenges solely Batmobile-based, or is that just one element of the challenges? At the very least, I'd like to see Riddles return; I could take or leave the trophies, though. Also, GI updated their hub again, and, needless to say, it's a pretty cool rundown of some of the subtler details and features:
