Speaking of the CE, TriForce (the folks who made the US Joker statue) just solicited their "Nightwing Escrima Sticks" from Arkham City...for $1100; they're ****ing high (both literally and figuratively).:lol

Do you have a link to their site? While $1100 is ridiculously expensive, I'd like to have a look at them still. I do a lot of stick fighting and it'd be awesome to turn up with these one week. Haha. But again, not for $1100.

:goodpost:

Of all the things I'm excited about for this game, multiplayer isn't one of them. Not even close. Even after seeing what it has to offer I'm not the least bit excited by the prospect of it.

Playing as a thug and actively running round shooting and killing other thugs.... I dunno, it's just not what I go into a Batman game for. I want to be Batman and be all heroic n s**t :lol Sure, you do get to be Batman or Robin in multiplayer, but from what I've read that only happens at random.

Then there's the whole 3v3v2 thing. Ughhh. If it was 1v1 I'd probably be a little more interested.

Anyway, thankfully the rest of what the game has to offer looks amazing so far. Very excited to say the least!!

Anyone here getting the Collector's Edition, with the Joker LED statue?

**** me. Looks like it's the end of an era. I needed that CE, too.:(

Amazon and Best Buy will have restocks. These big box collectors editions are hardly ever "limited" in any sense. It's pretty laughable that you can pick them up for half-price a year later.

:lecture This is true, and sad at the same time. I remember the days when "limited edition" meant something.

With that in mind -------->

Coming soon to iOS and Android (Holiday 2013), Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment are proud to announce the mobile edition Batman: Arkham Origins.

Play as Batman as he fights his way through Gotham City's most dangerous locales and encounters a number of DC Comics' most deadly assassins. As you progress, you'll be able to upgrade your character's skills and fighting tactics, but you'll also be able to unlock a number of unique Batsuits by earning in-game currency and rewards.

For our fans who also own a console version of the game and are registered for a Warner Bros. ID (WBID) account, they will be able to access exclusive bonus content that is not available elsewhere.

For those that didn't see it DC announced another one of the assassins at comic con.

electrocutioner

just in case people didn't want to know who it was.

I think I know who this is but not sure if its who I'm thinking of. I remember a comic (I think it was in detective comics) during Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle's run and I think that's who this is.

I have to say, the more I hear Troy Baker's Joker the more I like it, especially considering that Baker is doing his best Hamill impersonation. I think we've found our Joker successor if we ever need one. :lol

See im not a fan of his voice, not in the sense its crap, its great but i would have preferred him to do his own take on the voice rather than try to impersonate hamill. It doesn't make sense what the devs went for, you have a guy voicing joker who is more or less impersonating hamill, They have casted someone else so clearly somewhere down the line they want someone else's take but are having him in the game doing a Hamill impression, i mean why not just get hamill to do it in the first place then?.

Nay. He's gone on the record and said that he'd do it as long as they had something for him, and that the "grand finale" he would want is a Killing Joke animated film.

I think Hamill is definitely more expensive. Although he said he was misquoted in his retirement from the Joker, he did admitted that he would return if the project was compelling enough.

WB dropped Kevin so it probably makes sense not to call Hamill as well as they could save his talents for something else. Thanks to Kevin's accidental reveal, we all know that Arkham 3 is in the works and is most definitely next gen and Kevin is already working on it for months, maybe Hamill is too. :dunno

That being said, I never like the VA change anyway. I'm just rolling with it with the knowledge that the sequel to Arkham City is inevitable.
