I always thought Conroy didn't perform in this game due to budgetary reasons. This game was probably made on a smaller budget than Asylum or Arkham City, and reuses tons of assets already created for Arkham City. Conroy probably cost too much, given the money WB Montreal probably had to complete Origins.

I could be completely wrong, but it's always been the reason that made the most sense to me.

I'm thinking that it's a combination of scheduling/them wanting a younger take. We have to remember that Rocksteady's hard at work on the first Next-Gen Arkham outing, and one could assume that they may have been overlapping with Montreal's timeframes in certain areas.

That's also true; Rocksteady's next Arkham has been rumored to be in development for some time now. The fact that the studio has been completely silent all this time probably confirms that. I could see Conroy not having the time to do both.

Next-Gen Arkham= Batman AND Superman?

We have yet to have a successful Superman game. Perhaps "easing" Big Blue into the Arkham franchise is a good way to test Rocksteady's capabilities with including Superman?

I agree. We need to keep the games separate. I don't have a problem with an upcoming movie tie-in, but let's not mess up Arkham "just because."

~~I'd love it if DC starting pushing more games with the quality that's been put into the Arkham games. Yes Superman would be awesome if done right, but so would many of the other characters from the DC universe.

Hmm....a Flash game in an open sandbox world like Infamous (or Spiderman games) would be awesome IMO. Can you imagine the possibilities of having to race across the city to stop a bank robbery followed by running to another part to stop another crime in progress?

This sounds too good to believe it. :clap

Keep that big blue turd away from this franchise. We don't need him ruining it. :pfft:
