:goodpost:

We need Batman Beyond movie.

Think about it. A Batman/Spider-Man Hybrid movie set in an awesome future Science Fiction movie. It'd destroy all others

This is a dumb idea the general audience know BW as batman they don't have a clue to who batman beyond is.

Don't see this happening if they are trying to do JLA cant have two different batman’s.

His battles with Curare were just awesome. Plus studios are always looking to youthify characters. A teenage batman would play right into that.

It won't happen. That's a stupid idea anyway. Bruce Wayne as Batman or no deal.

While the idea of Batman Beyond seemed as if it was "not a proper continuation of the legacy of the Dark Knight", it gathered acclaim after its release. The show was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, two of which it won in 2001 for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program and Outstanding Music Direction and Composition. In addition, the show was nominated for five Annie Awards and won two of those nominations in 1999 and 2001.

In 2009, IGN.com named Batman Beyond the 40th best animated television series of all time.

People loved Beyond, after seven movies of Bruce as Batman why not freshen things up a bit?

They can always go back to Bruce with a reboot later on.

Seriously doubt it. I don't see them basing a reboot of their flagship franchise on a short-lived long-cancelled fanboy-favorite spinoff cartoon with a Batman nobody knows, villains nobody will recognize, and based in a Gotham that is so futuristic that it is completely disconnected from both reality and the Batman mythology that made the Burton and Nolan movies popular.

Lousy idea. Bound to flop.

I don't see why a BEYOND series couldn't run concurrently with a contemporary BATMAN/JL movie series, just like the show did when it premiered.

One thing people continually fail to grasp is that current superhero movies aren't made for us comic fans, they are made for this generetion of kids who are growing up wiht the movies as their basis for franchise comic characters.

The kids don't need to have established roots of familiar faces and stories adhearing to a strict canon or characteristic because they don't have a long standing history of reading these characters and establishing an unshakable idea of what needs to be on screen, they go with the flow of whats offered.

Both DC and Marvel have quasi-rebooted their comics because it was hard to get into with the canon going back decades.

WB & Sony have both rebooted their flagship heros to simplify things for a new audience.

A Batman Beyond movie will be a clean slate reboot just like any other movie they make from here on out.

People will see it because it's Batman, Bruce or not. No way would it flop

This feels like early 2000s all over again when Batman and Robin put the franchise on hiatus and we saw everything from abandoned Batman/Superman movies to Michael Keaton or Clint Eastwood coming in and training Freddy Prinze Jr.

Can't the concept of Batman Beyond die with the series? It was a good show, that doesn't necessarily mean it would make a great film. I wish people would get over it. I don't know why fans always cling to the "BATMAN BEYOND AS A MOVIE!!!!" concept.

Same reason they claw for a Black Panther or other pop culture movie. they wanna see it on the big screen.

A Black Panther movie would also be ridiculous.

They should make a period piece Batman flick, no more modern of future crap.
