No point trying to copy Nolan's approach, that would be setup for failure :lol

I'm in for a totally different take.

Why Void? isn't Nolan's Batman the best comic book-based movie of all times???

Why you want change what is already perfect?....

As long as the new film is a fresh interpretation of the Batman/Bruce Wayne by a film team that respects the character and doesn't focus on bat *****, neon, doesn't make Bruce a young hipster boy, a homosexual, or put nipples on the suit I will be fine.

I agree of course and that why I don't think there's any point trying to do what Nolan did. He made the best 'realistic' version of Batman I could hope to see

Now I want something different, and different villains, perhaps some of the more fantasy based ones like Mr Freeze or Man
Bat or Killer croc. Plus I'd like to see a JLA film eventually and Nolans interpretation would not fit into that universe

Actually I think any villian can take the Nolan's approach. Nolan's villians are pretty inaccurate to comic books, he just take the name and bring his own vision of how the villian would fit on the real world.

About the JLA, in my opinion Batman just doesn't fit on that world, I am not a comic book reader, but I used to watch the animated series of the JLA, and I remember Batman was never able to fight with the big guys, let's said Darkside or any other "super" villian, that's why I disliked that tv show.

By the way I just watched TDKR for my sixth time, and everytime the movie ends I'm sad for real, but not becauses the movie yet becauses, I know is the last Nolan's Batman :monkey2

Yes I'm sure any villain could be adapted into that world but I don't want another director trying to continue that story if it's not going to be Nolan, because eventually it will just end in tears

Imma miss the Bale Batman more than I'll miss Nolan. Mogan Freedman as Luscious Fawx and Gary Oldman as Groden too.

Not going to miss Michael Caine though. He seems like a sweet, kind old man and he's a great actor but his Alfred was way too cockney for my tastes. By TDKR I was sick of him. I hated his weepy ***. Alfred still hasn't been "done right" in my eyes, not like Commissioner Gordon has. Michael Gough and Michael Caine did a good job for the films they were in, but for me, Alfred needs to be a little more proper. Where's his mustache? He needs to be more prissy. Sort of like C-3PO except not as annoying or gay.

Something closer to the Animated Series characterization would be the perfect Alfred in live action. I'm not sure what actor could do this though.

Nolan did well. I didn't enjoy TDKR as much as I did the first too but he did a great job. I love Begins and TDK. I don't think it was "OH MY GOD THE PERFECT BATMAN" but it's one of my favorite interpretations of the character.

Time to "start fresh" though.

I'd like to see a truly great screen Nightwing. Always been a big Nightwing fan. Hopefully the reboot includes him

I just really, really want to see someone do something major with Zsasz & maybe even Mad Hatter. I want to see some one do something new.

I read the Batman and JLA comics off and on for decades and I think some of the Grant Morrison stuff is some of the best Batman stories ever done. The JLA stories that showcase Batman's detective skills have always been among my favorites. I would luv to see his detective side highlighted in any reboot, maybe with a well done Riddler. I just wish they had saved the "So that's what that feels like" line for when Supes does it to Bats, it justs seems more appropriate and would have been a great homage to KC.

They should use Hush

I could see a great story coming out of a film with Hush. Especially considering Hush & Bruce Wayne go way back & he's had such great hatred towards Bruce since childhood. It could be bordering gory considering the crimes Hush commits. Oh man, that would be awesome.

Time to start designing a new Batsuit as well.

How about using the Grey-and-black theme, to move away from the Burton/Nolan variations of the all-black suit?

I would love to see Hush brought to screen, the story brings in a lot of the classic villains too. I would also love to see The Long Halloween and Year One done as live action movies

I have always thought this :lecture

Is there a confirmation date for the extended 2 cd version of the music score of TDKR ???

PS: There is just nothing else after Nolan's Batman, WB should stop making Batman movies... >.<

Personally,

Hush, Sionis/Black mask, Great White/Warren White and Deadshot are all underused characters.

I believe, that TDKR is a 4th film, not a 3rd. Id loved to have seen Sionis/White fighting over control of the remaining crime lord positions now that the established mob is beaten. Until the Dent act comes in, I reckon it shouldve been those two, with one of them hiring Deadshot as their right handman.

That way, it wouldve utilised Batmans detective skills in trying to analyse evidence with the bat computer, having Gordon play devils advocate by supplying Batman with evidence whilst trying to hunt him as the whole of Gotham hates batman and are after him.

Imagine, SWAT against White and Sionis and Deadshot whilst fighting Batman who is trying to stop White/Sionis/Deadshot, Whilst trying to evade the GCPD, and also trying to evade citizens trying to capture him or alert the police, whilst having some people who still believe in him.

That wouldve been an amazing 3rd film, somthing to fully force him into retirement. The speech at the end of TDK was not a speech of retirement. it was a speech of fighting through. Not hiding away.

But yeah on the one hand I wouldnt mind seeing Clayface and Freeze exactly like the ones from Arkham City; Its dark but its also got the sci-fi element. Thats the route it NEEDS to go, because after Nolans films something special needs to be done for me to be interested. I mean, Returns was the best film before Nolans trilogy, and to be honest, id put Returns equal if not a little bit lower than TDK.

But its a pretty definitive interpretation that on screen, has been superior to almost anything on live action. So either its BTAS/Arkham game style, or im out, because I hate JLA with a passion, and if they want to kiddify Batman, im totally out.

Black mirror/richard Grayson suit, but I like the thinness of Grayson in it, not the hulking Batman. And I love the cape always wrapping all the way around.

But to keep in line, the first film MUST have the year one costume;
