Why us his belt so high up, has the person displaying him moved it up by accident or us that sculpted on permanently like that?

Oh man, i have not noticed it earlier. It does seem too high, but it is just like the pictures on SS site. And it is at the same hight as in the movie.
Now it only bothers me because, i personally dont like to have a belt over my (upcoming) beer belly
