Not just you - I'm a die hard Supes fan (he's my favorite), and they are dated.

That said, I'm not sure if there's been a great Superman film yet. When someone figures out how to put "For the man who has everything" onto film (say, as the middle act), I'll be happy

That could work as a kick *** WB feature animation.

Duel of the Freaks diorama FTW!

Don't get me wrong, I love Terrance Stamp's performance but mostly because of how comical it is. People love those films because of their chilhood memories I find, not because they're terribly good films...

*waits to be shot at*

I feel exactly the same way about the Reeve Superman films AND the Burton Batmans. Sure, as a kid I loved them, but they are nearly unwatchable today, especially the romance flight scene in Superman and basically all of Burton Batman.
Nothing, I mean NOTHING makes sense. Does it look cool? Yeah. Does it have some really amazing badass scenes and images (like when Bruce rises out of his chair with the Batsignal behind him, or the fight against the sword guy)? Hell yeah, but as a story nothing makes sense. For example Batman attacks those two robbers at the beginning of the movie AFTER they robbed the family, then he kicks one down, holds one up, says his name and then leaves. I mean... WHAT? And the Batplane scene? What is he doing? He locks onto Joker and a million bullets and rockets all miss and then joker shoots him down with a handgun? WTF? Not to mention that Batman kills more people than Joker and Peguin combined. :)

But again... I love the Keaton PF. I need the Keaton PF.

It's like that comic book, the Bible. Where God kills billions in the world and Satan kills 10. Yet God is the good guy :lol

Sorry, I must be missing something, or I watched different versions of Batman and Batman Returns... but this isn't true. I watched them again over the weekend!

Just off the top of my head, I recall Batman in the first movie blowing up the factory workers by dropping a bomb infront of them from the Batmobile. He drops the black guy down the church tower and lets not forget he also kills Joker at the end.

True, Burton's Batman does kill, but it certainly is a small amount compared to the villains.

The Joker kills some cops at Axis Chemicals, Eckhart, Grisham, Bob, Alicia, that guy at the board meeting (with the electric handshake), the mob boss outside City Hall with the pen, countless people are killed by his cosmetic products, more are killed by his gas attack at the Art Gallery, hundreds are killed by gas at his parade, etc etc.

The Penguin kills Fred Atkins, the Ice Princess, the Fat Clown in the sewers, many people with his explosion at the ballroom, and his goons kill many people at the Christmas celebration at the start of the film

Catwoman kills Max, and herself. Or does she?

Don't forget Batman also kills more people by shooting missiles at Jokers float with the Batwing.

Point here is, Batman's no different than Joker really.

And that's what you're basing a decision whether to purchase this thing or not on??

Okaaaayyyy..... :cuckoo:

I know. I personally couldn't give a flying fu$@ if he could turn his head or not. And the funny thing is that this whole head thing is based on one god damn teaser pic.

Put this on PO now sideshow!!!
