My biggest issue is that BOTH heads are turned toward the same side. I wish the new sculpt was facing the other direction.

I agree. It would've been nice to switch it up every now and then but honestly I think the new sculpt will be the one I'll be using 90% of the time anyways. That look, to me, is the ace of the three. I bet SS could make a KILLING if they offered that up in black.

Yeah, I think I like the black/dark navy a lot more. I wish PFs stayed at teh $400 price point now it seems $430 is the new standard price.

Cool... and that's the HS i liked better of the two from the first. The black/grey would look better with the Trinity. But solo, this blue will stand out more somehow I think.

The $30 more is meh, if this isn't exclusive, unless you really want the blue or must have a batarang, it doesn't make any sense with black regs available. Unless like me you're a Batman collector, but even I'm going to wait and try to use RP.

Make him limited to 1,500 or less and I will buy. Otherwise it's a pass for now until they determine how many they are making since this could be available for years to come.

For the higher price they should have at least added something new to the base or change both heads. Space and price increase along with the same sculpt will be a pass. I may consider this if the ES is 500.

I think you're right. The total ES count will be what I'm looking for. I might still buy it later on for less down the road if the ES is big as expected. I will wait to see what the next batman dark blue will look like.... Imagine if we have like 30,000 batmans out there when the repaints are done.

I would probably buy it in a second, BUT there would go half of the reason why some would spend money to buy the new blue varient .... So probably won't happen.. The head turn thing is a no brainier to me though.

It has been almost 3 years since the first went up for PO. Given an average I flat in rate of 3% a year the price difference should be right about where it is $30-$40.

I wish it was a whole new sculpt, BUT we have known that wasn't going to happen for a long time so no use complaining about it much. The ES on this one is going to be at least 2000. My guess would be it will be larger than the 2500 for the original Ex. Unless they put up an ESs immediately this will be TBD, the hordes will order, and SSC will know they have a cash cow and have a large ESs for it. Hell it could even be an "Limited Exition" like Vader is.

LOL... It means the make them till they stop selling and then they go away with no indication of HOW many statues they ever made... If there is a TBD there will MOST LIKELY be an ES, but that is no guarantee. The Regular Droids went from TBD to Open "Limited" Edition so you never know.

I don't care for the price. I really like the new head sculpt though. It's getting to the point, that every DC PF will have a variant later. There's no need to rush to get these now. Plus it seems, if the 1st version comes out iffy, just wait for the inevitable 2nd version which will improve and address all the issues. I'm cool with variants and 2nd editions, bu they need to change up everything. I don't want a Bizarro version of Superman, with the exact same base and poise, just a repaint. May as well get it customized and be done. Anymore it's crap shoot, I like the raised bat symbol, but hard to say it'll be that way once released. "this is a prototype and subject to change."

Myself, If SS wants to price me out of purchases, fine by me.

As much as I wanted the HT Batmobile, I could sell both Bats and Robin to pay for this and save myself a load of $.

Wasn't bothered much about the first one especially with the issues I read about however this piece looks savage. I'll probably give in to temptation and buy it. First batman piece !!

The Batman piece is currently in production and has been 100% approved through the licensor, so making changes at this point isn't going to be possible.
