Man it sucks it's going to take so long to get here. I just love how this looks.. The new head sculpt really helps the rest of the sculpt IMO. It's just a much more natural looking pose... I was never a fan of the straight on portrait but the other one had the slightly longer neck and was looking almost too far to the side... Still a great statue and I may keep it after I get the new one.. Love the original EX

Honestly, m8 looking at those pics makes me prefer the original Canale headsculpt, and the straight on Andy B head, but they are BOTH great sculpts.

I've always been more of a DC fan. So many of the future figures and statues i want are DC. I just find Batman, Green Lantern, Shazam, Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Aquaman, etc....more entertaining to read than any Marvel heros. With that said i still do Enjoy Marvel quite a bit.

As for this PF. I haven't gotten a Sideshow PF yet, but I'm leaning towards this being my first.

I'm much more of a Marvel fan, but I think Sideshow has just been killing the DC line. I personally think they're ALL worth owning, whereas a lot of the Marvel pieces they've done I absolutely would never want.

The DC line tends to be bang on when it comes to getting it what makes the characters and icon. I think all of the Trinity pieces are just so iconic that they just fit perfectly with the history and looks I imagine. The Marvel lines tend to be more hit and miss. When they are a hit like Gladiator/King Hulk, Skarr, the original Spidey Com, Doom, or the Maybe even the new Hulk PFs then the are just as iconic, but when the miss.... Uggggg.

Sideshows also been doing Marvel a lot longer, give it time and the same can be said for DC.

It's pics like this that get me thinking about buying 1:1s. But gotta cut things off somewhere. Sideshow has done an amazing job with the DC PF line. Looking forward to seeing Aquaman, Darkseid, and whatever other surprises SS will unveil at CC.

I would disagree with that. New Doom, Thor, Hulks, and Daredevil all look pretty special to me. Plus, the Allied Cap, Red Skull, and Black Widow all came out beautifully to highly positive reviews.

Probably won't continue to buy anything that exceeds the $400 mark in the future though. Prices vs value just isn't there for me.

Type "Neil Adams" Batman and you will find what you are looking for.. Many artist drew him in this suit but Neil is IMO the best.
