There's a part of me that wants to photoshop out the watermarks on all of this "leaked" promo art that that El Mayimbe dude keeps posting and reupload them. I just think that's so ridiculously douchey. It's like "really, dude? You're watermarking **** that didn't belong to you to begin with?"

Oh I bet LOTS of promo art from many different sources are being done now. Merchandising will probably begin later this year and all this stuff has to be readied now..think cereal boxes, pop cans, erasers, school notebooks, etc etc etc

I think he would make a great 50's period Superman.

But he is prolly a bit too old to make a series of flicks with.

You know what? Jon Hamm for Captain Marvel/Shazam. I want to see the dude as, at least, one superhero in my life, and I feel like that could totally work. He can be hilarious, depending on the role, and the idea of a dude that looks like he stepped out of a comic book acting like a manchild seems right in his comedic wheelhouse.

Affleck brought a lot more to the table than Green Eggs and Hamm.
Yeah that's why I was skeptical about the casting because I was afraid Affleck wasn't chosen because he best for the role but because he made more financial sense. He actually might turn out okay but I can't stand when he answers his own "Do you bleed?" question. It seems so weird and poorly thought out. Why would you ask an alien if he can bleed and then tell him he will? What if he actually can't? If he just says "I'm going to make you bleed" its still cheesy but at least hes not answering his own silly questions.

Batman: Tell me, can you catch a cold? You will.
Superman: No I actually can't.

Anyway I think we all know that Batman is going to make him bleed. Idk I'm just ranting. I'm already skeptical from the TDKR and MOS lines where they say "I'm going to stop you" to Bane and Zod. I'm hoping this isn't going to be another one of those lame moments.

He was my choice instead of Affleck. Oh well

I'm on Team Batfleck, in terms of "will he succeed," but, Hamm was always my choice for Batman, and I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a tinge of disappointment when it wasn't his face on that casting announcement.

Well, not only did he bring guaranteed money but didn't he also bring along his writing team?

Honestly, one of the things I like about his casting is his expertise as a director. While I don't think he'd presume to take over the production or anything, I do like the idea that someone with a completely different style was looking at the script and saying "hey, Zack, did you ever think of, maybe, doing this, instead?"

It also gives me more faith in the script.

Yup,

I think it went down like this:

Affleck to Zach: "Stick to directing your visuals surfer dude, I got the narrative, spoken words and tone"

Zach to Affleck. "Yippieee, i'm off the hook!"
