Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 24th, 2016)

So I caught the animated films The Dark Knight Returns Part I & II on Netflix the other day. BvS really looks like part II of this story, but in reverse, with Batman trying to stop Superman instead. They even have that armoured Batman outfit, so I guess it isn't entirely new.

For the record I really didn't like part II. It made Superman look like a pawn of the government and what he did to Oliver seems unthinkable. These films were set when Batman is a 55 year old man, so it's well into the future, but I really hope the movies don't follow in this direction if we ever get past the Justice League days.

Shoulda known. Still pretty cool, though. I can't believe how quickly it's approaching. I remember Age of Ultron being "6 months out" like it was yesterday.

Deadpool is probably the most accurate so far, or ASM2's, but I'm just going by cool factor.

Even though this is photoshopped, it gives you an idea how magnificicent and true to the batman lore the design of the new costume.
Has a creepy look to it in the dark that would instill fear who runs across bats in a dark alley.
This is why for me personally, tdk suit is one of the weakest.
Nolan got carried away from his too realistic approach and shied away from the brilliant begins suit.
The tdk complex suit lack any animalistic, fear imposing look to it...and just went with something that's simply just for "cool" factor.

Agree. The new suit and the Begins one had the mood down.

TDK one was perfect for the real world tactical look they were going for. A scary look wasn't needing as he wasn't in alleys stopping common crime.
