That was a kid friendly game that came out a few years after Destroyer. Of course it will reference his most recent look from the film that they would have actually been allowed to see. Where are you seeing that Milius chose the box art anyway?

The definitive Conan art was actually done by Renato Casaro, not Frazetta.

It came out in 91, seven years after Destroyer, so they could have used any look. Regardless of who chose the cover art, they made the right choice by choosing the look that best represents the character and Milius name is on it as writer and creative consultant...whatever that means

Bottom line, doesn't matter which movie he looked best, which movie was closer to Howard or who drew the better poster, there is only 1 Conan movie worth owning, CTB.

There is nothing wrong with liking the movie for what it is, but Conan it Aint.
As far as accuracy goes, it's about as accurate as anything else that was adapted into movies in the 80's.
Or, if you'd like a more contemporary example. it's as Accurate As Italian Spiderman is to Lee and Ditko's early work.
if you compare teh characters of Howard's conan/ Moma 's take and The Ahnuld version, Ahnuld's is a little *****.

Who picks one movie over another based on who looks closer to the poster art.
Destroyer is universally known for being a horrendous follow up to an incredible movie created by John Millius.
Sure Arnold was doing better steroids by then and he looked great, but that doesn't make the movie better.
Destroyer belongs with Red Sonja.
That being said, i'll take Destroyer over the Conan remake any day of the week.
