Snyder: The big rule we broke is we put Gotham and Metropolis next to each other. They're sister cities like Oakland and San Francisco.

Snyder says Batman v Superman is an homage to Frank Miller/Dark Knight Returns but it's not the same story.

"Superman lands at Capitol Hill. He walks into the US Senate as a woman calls his power dangerous. Bruce Wayne runs into a building falling and saves a little girl. Bruce reads a letter that says 'You let your family die.' He whips out the batsuit. Superman calls Batman a vigilante. Kent's boss says 'No one cares about Clark Kent taking on the Batman.' Clark needs to be everyone’s hero. A space shuttle explodes and he catches it. Lex Luthor talks with the senator and says devils come from the sky. Batman looks at a graffitied bat suit. Bruce talks about Gal Gadot, who flashes by, saying she can wipe out the entire human race. Mechsuit Batman unveils the Bat-Signal. Bruce watches his parents die. Wonder Woman causes a massive explosion. Batman fights off military personnel. Luther looks at Kryptonite. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman fight. Luther says 'The red capes are coming.' Superman opens the Batmobile and Batman rises up to eye level with him."

I hope she's in costume more than just the final battle and I hope she has a few action scenes

I like how they gave us Zod vs Supes from Wayne's perspective. Saving the child from the destruction, you can see what drives him against Superman.
