BATMAN v SUPERMAN May Be The Most Expensive Movie Ever; New JUSTICE LEAGUE Details

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to need to be a massive hit if this new report about its budget is to be believed! According to Latino-Review, that has now rocketed to a whopping $410 million. That's an insane amount and puts the movie on track to being the most expensive ever shot. If it grosses over $1 billion (as any movie starring Batman and Superman really should), then it will be a worthwhile investment, but if things go wrong...well, that could spell disaster for Warner Bros.' upcoming DC Comics slate! So, why is it so expensive? The site puts it down to, "the addition of big name cast members, practical sets, and an extended production schedule could have all contributed."

This thing is going to be an epic train wreck :lol

Yea no doubt every person here is gonna hate it. A movie this big is gonna be picked clean.

Omac? Hmmm. So outta place it sounds feasible.

Oh, God, no. I hate OMACs with a passion. They're just so boring. It's the same with the Cybermen and the Borg and who knows what else; "assimilation" is just such a ****ty motivation, and the worst part is that it leaves you with a completely one-dimensional husk of an antagonist. I hope, for the love of all that is holy, that this is one of those rumors that goes nowhere, or this is already off to a terrible start, in my eyes.

This supposedly is a different OMAC though, it's basically what we read about Doomsday without being Doomsday (tactical updates directly to its brain and all), so it's better than DD at least at this point, so then later they can use DD effectively in a Death of Superman arc.

And it's ok that it's one dimensional, DD is one dimensional to begin with, we know the villain is Luthor, not whatever muscle they had planned.

Would you honestly rather have Doomsday so early? I mean I don't care for him but for a movie that was deemed "super duper crowded" it's better that they get a D-list muscle antagonist instead of DD.

410 million is an incredible bang for your buck when compared to the 280 million it costs to run for president of the United States.

At least I get cool toys from the former. :lol
