This Christmas was the first time in ages I tried to get a regular, mass produced toy. I was trying to get Rey from Star Wars for my daughter. And it was a ***** finding something in the store. Finns, Poes, Kylos, troops, etc. were available out the wazoo. I even noticed a 6 pack of 12" figures at Target that included, of all people, Chewbacca, but didn't include Rey! It ain't easy for chick toys out there.

I saw a cute little girl crying to her dad at the Disney store yesterday because they had no Rey's.

It was actually pretty heartbreaking, my son felt bad.

If I had a girl I would've just thrown a blond wig onto the Ren figure and tell her they spelled her name wrong on the box.

I went to a Halloween party as Finn but for some reason people were giving me dirty looks and they wouldn't let me on the dance floor or at the bar. I don't know what went wrong, my Poe jacket was accurate, my pants, and blaster were all spot on. I even made sure my complexion and hair was accurate with some heavy duty make up. Must have been the replica lightsaber I was carrying around.

I was in prime elementary school years throughout the entire peak of OT hysteria but did my parents ever get me a Star Wars costume for Halloween? Noooo. My mom stitched this fancy black cape that was red on the inside so every year I was either Dracula or Zorro, Dracula or Zorro. ****ing red and black cape.

I got my daughter the Rey and Leia "itty bitties."

I never saw those. Cute kids, Khev. My daughter actually has a girl StormTrooper costume, that she wore to the Force Awakens, and will wear when we go to Hollywood Studios later this year. I didn't really want to buy it for her, but it was 75% off after Halloween. It's actually very cool.
