I liked the new Wonder Woman shot! :lol I think the Suicide Squad movie will be better, but I'm lying to myself if I say I'm more excited for it than this. I've seen these trailers a total of 30 times combined. My all time most anticipated movie was the Dark Knight Rises, and I watched those trailers a combined total of 8 times. (Well, unless you count that "Deshi, Deshi, Basara" sound byte because I listened to that about 100 times! :lol) I just keep getting more and more excited!

I liked the ideas of how they developed Clark in Man of Steel far more than any media depiction, but I just didn't like the execution. Hopefully, this will be the film that solidifies him as one of my favorite superheroes. Conceptually, Batmand Superman are the best heroes in my opinion. He's the granddaddy of them all, so I can't wait for this film to help fix any qualms that people like me had of the character in previous depictions. Of course, I hope it's my favorite Batman depiction as well!

Well, speaking for myself, I don't like things that look like crap. I think this looks like crap. Ergo I don't like it.
Does that make me a hater?

I'm just basing my opinion on a whole previous movie to which this is the sequel, and every trailer I've seen to thus point, along with some seriously silly marketing and a director who has failed to impress for quite a while. I literally dislike everything I've seen and heard so far except Affleck as Batman, is that not fair?

You mean that shot of WW on the plane putting away her luggage didn't change your mind? Mang, you're crazy!

I've been waiting over 30 years to see that. :yess:

I've got to say, I've always hated the term "haters," but I think it genuinely applies to this movie. It's hilarious when you see Batman talking about having to stop Superman by basically repeating all the criticisms that people had for MoS, and now, those same people are bitching about how "Batman shouldn't want to kill Superman, if there's only a 1% chance." Maybe that's what I get for reading io9...

Yea like I said before time and time again this movie is gonna be nitpicked out the ***. It has no chance. Just like star wars but worse since we have a longer history with these characters than with REy and the others. When this movie hits, o man the internet is gonna ****ing implode in itself.

You'll see when this movie drops these civilized nerds... will eat each other. You see I'm not a monster, im just ahead of the curb.

Well, speaking for myself, I don't like things that look like crap. I think this looks like crap. Ergo I don't like it. As the first film in the new DCEU Man of Steel was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art...flawless, sublime. A triumph equalled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in everything Zach Snyder touches. Thus. As I was saying, I stumbled upon a solution whereby nearly 99% of all test audience members accepted the reboot, as long as they were given a choice...even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level. While this answer functioned, it was obviously fundamentally flawed, thus creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that if left unchecked might threaten the entire DCEU itself. Ergo those that refused the spoiler laden marketing campaign, while a minority, if unchecked would constitute an escalating probablility of disaster.

:goodpost:

What are your thoughts on Suicide Squad?

The term 'haters' is overused yes but in regards to this thread there's a good few people who are quite open about disliking the movie so far and probably will not pay to see this movie in the cinema. Yet a select few of them still decide to bombard the thread on a daily basis to keep us informed of their dislike. Attention seekers might be a better term to use.

:D

They'll pay to see the film in theaters and they'll pay to see Avatar 2 when it comes out too. :lol

If you want a thread to yourselves where only positive comments can be made than you should try that. But saying that members who have different opinions than your own are looking for attention only reflects badly on you? I didn't see anyone being disrespectful to anyone in here until your post. Have a little think about that.

lol i brought up this exact point in the hobbit thread and the age of ultron thread

funny how some of the people trashing this movie were the same people that were furious about me or others hating on hobbit or ultron.

and i say that as someone that is excited for this movie. the hypocrisy in the forum is hilarious

I don't have a problem with people voicing their dislike for a movie but the same few come into this thread on a daily basis and repeat it over and over. You have to wade through page after page of them repeating themselves.

Pretty standard for these forums not just this thread...behavior not gonna change....wouldn't get too worked up about it.
