I know I won't see this in theaters because it's still Zack Snyder. The only film of his that I can definitively say I enjoyed was Dawn of the Dead. Easily my favorite zombie movie.
Everything else he has done has completely disappointed me. Part of it is my own fault because I absolutely loved the trailers for 300, Watchmen, and Man of Steel. My hopes weren't sky high, but they were high. I admit it.
This movie is a completely different situation. Each trailer has made me either roll my eyes or shake my head. I've grown up loving these characters my whole life. I'm not some Marvel fanboy hating on DC. JLU is one of my favorite tv shows of all time and BTAS is right up there with it. Hell, throw Batman Beyond in there too. I have stacks of comics from when I used to collect back in the day. Both Marvel and DC and indy comics as well. I've read The Dark Knight Returns at least 4 times man. I really would love to be excited for this film but knowing Snyder is at the helm and the watching laughable adverts is just ruining it for me.
And what's really disturbing is that they delayed the release of the film for almost a year, then changed the date again to avoid competing with Marvel in the same weekend. Not good signs.
