Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 24th, 2016)

My friend owns a comic book store. One long-time customer read the first issue on the couch. When he finished he crumbled it up, threw it, and stated that he would neither pay for it or pick it up. I believe we left it where it landed until the store moved last year.

You'd think that after "TDK Strikes Again" DC would never allow Frank to write Batman ever again.
I still can't believe how much Sin City ruined him...

I'm still on the fence. The spiderman 3 trailers were also very well done to. Not to be a downer but I don't want to be excited and then let down. However batman is amazing , they really got him spot on and it's funny cuz no one thought affleck was good.

OK. I'm not a Snyder fan but Spider-Man 3? This may or may not be great, but it won't be horrible!

I think one of the reasons this trailer is more exciting is that watching a well-choreographed fight between people in a real setting - even if it's enhanced by CGI, wires, etc - just has more impact than even the best rendered animated people flying through buildings.

Of course, Bats looked great kicking *** but I didn't care for Alfred sounding like J.A.R.V.I.S. and Supes getting the short shrift, as usual. I still like the first trailer best.

It really isn't.... At least the PT had decent music and action sequences.... even if the CGI was crap at times.

I keep watching the Batman parts in the trailer. I'm on Cloud 9; I'm so happy!

Not fair to choose between comics, animation and films... but overall I adore All-Star Superman series.
It clicked with me on many levels and showcased everything I love about the character.
Not very original of me, I know.

Hey, there's a reason why it's popular! It's one of the three Superman depictions that I really liked (the others being the Fleischer cartoons and Golden Age comics). When he's written as a purely modest and selfless individual like in those depictions I think Supes is pretty sweet. Well, maybe some wouldn't say Golden Age Superman was very modest, but whatever, he's awesome!

He also killed his dad in a race, right after he told Clark his purpose in life was not to play football. He knew he had no other choice but to kill his old man. He was probably contemplating how to kill his mom when she surprised him out in the field...

That Batman warehouse scene just made any other Batman hand to hand combat obsolete.

Finally. We get a bad a$$ bruiser of a Batman and he is old and well into his career. Just can't win.

But for real. The Batman parts of that trailer got me pumped.
