Superman IV disc has never been removed from my Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition tin. It's been a while since the other have as well, but still...

Affleck doing some rewrites is a faint glimmer of hope.

While I think this will be bad, I don't want it to be. Batman was always my favorite superhero growing up, and I have nothing against Superman, I enjoyed the first movie.

I won't be going to see this opening weekend, if at all. I will wait to hear what others have to say before I waste my time and money. That is, unless my Wife drags me to it, which is always a possibility.

Snyders MOS was so bad (IMO) that it really soured me on any future Snyder Superman movie, I just can't believe the studio didn't hire somebody else. On top of how bad MOS was, I think these trailers, up until the last one have looked terrible.

I hope the movie is good, I genuinely do, I enjoy a good Batman movie. If this one turns out good, it will be one of the most surprising cinematic experiences of my life, and I like surprises.

I still watch B&R to this day! :lol

You gonna keep using that excuse to defend this movie?
Facts are facts. You're one of the ones using hyperbole and being completely cynical about the movie before even seeing 1 actual complete scene from it.

I actually haven't commented on the quality of the film itself, pro or con. Nor will I. Not even after it's released. I'm recusing myself from that particular element of the discussions.

I've tried to avoid the spoliers for DP, so I'll go in fresh at least.

From what I've seen & gathered though, he's gone a bit crazy with the gags.. that's gonna **** me to tears I think.

DEADPOOL is pretty damned fun. I can understand thinking it may be "overhyped" (and many Deadpool fans and costumers are among the most annoying groups of humans on the planet), but I can't understand hating the movie.

Eh. Different strokes...

It's not an excuse though, this movie has had pre-hatred and bad buzz comparable to that of Fan4stic, that in itself it's remarkable.

You gonna keep calling it a "video game" as an insult?
I never got that, I mean I can see why people would call it a videogame to try and insult this movie, but they immediately compare it to the Arkham series :lol how's that an insult? When those games have done what everybody else has failed to deliver to date, the BEST Batman in ALL aspects outside the comics, Burton failed, Schumacher failed, Nolan faaaaailed.

Then it's because the CGI looks "fake", while true, ALL CGI these days looks fake because we're on the edge of the uncanny valley, BvS looks waaay better than any other CBM, and most recent blockbusters like JW and TG, with the exception perhaps of TFA. I mean, have you seen CW? I'm sure that movie will be great, at the very least an 8.5/10 probably, but holy ****, that CGI looks like a ps3 cutscene :lol

Man, Deadpool is your new MOS :lol

Wait until I start my photoshopping crap. :lol

My favorite part was DP breaking his limbs on Colossus and Negasonic saving Colossus.

That's it. :lol

That definitely tainted my experience. I was driving through Louisiana a couple weeks back and thought "what the heck" and stopped to catch DP in the theater. This freaking dude, I can't even describe, he was sitting next to me with a vintage Flint and Zartan in his lap and he was guffawing at everything (though his Flint might have been "Tiger Force" now that I think of it.) He kept having his GI Joe's battle each other any time there wasn't something exciting going on on screen and then whenever DP said something "funny" he'd hold up one of his action figures and would painstakingly make them "clap" their little hands. It was bizarre.
