If you want to see some dated effects that were dated when the film was released... LOTR films has some bad CGI.. But it does not matter because the story and films are great...

I don't mind the CG in the first Avengers because I liked the film.. CGI in Superman is pretty good but what is not as good bothers me because I did not like the film too much..

Complaining about CGI is like complaining about old Stop motion... It's a method of telling the story.. I still love watching Jason and the Argonauts and it's obvious those skeletons aren't real :lol

As for MOS CGI that I really hated... It's when Zod is jumping up the building and he keeps hoping up the side... Reminds me of this scene from Catwoman.

This scene makes me laugh every time... Not because of Bad CGI... But because Superman was soo cool to dodge that truck just to possibly let people die in the parking garage behind him No wonder Batman wants to kick his ass :lol

Enough of m dumping on MOS.... Bring on BvS

It's not just the ears. The eye holes are different and there's a triangular shape below the eyes. Also the mask is thinner and it fits closer to the skin like in the comics, and the neck fabric also fits better. That mask above is better than any of the outfits in any of the films.

Captain Obvious saves the day! :lol

Watching superman jump over that truck and let it explode makes me see why superman fans hate that movie so much. Like sheesh atleast try and save someone.

Now I understand why Prime 1's Batman looked like it had goofy eyes. His head wasn't straight in the reference shots.

BvS could very well be my movie of the year. Apart from this, X-Men and Rogue One are the only other movies that I'm interested in seeing in 2016.
Hahahahahahha

Here is the thing... I watch the trailer with Batman, Superman and Wonder woman all in the same frame and I should be geeked out.... But Problem is... They did not earn that shot like Marvel did in Avengers... Other then Superman who we watched in MOS the other two could be Cosplay fans... It's not like the Avengers where you are finally seeing well developed hero'splayed by the same actor share the screen together... If Marvel made the Avengers first then that payoff shot with all of them in the same frame would have fell as flat as the BvS shot.. If they at least made a Batman movie with this Batman then the match up would be that much cooler.

Warner is trying to catch up to Marvel and jump on the Comic hit wave... They needed to take their time but I think they are worried about Comic Book Fatigue setting in.. So they are in a rush.

I hope it's good.. I really do. If for no other reason as to get more Batman movies.. But after MOS I am not overly excited.

BTW I watched MOS again this weekend.. Just such a flawed film. I really hope the new movie can avoid the same issues.
I agree with Jaws .

This film already show so many problems, which everyone seems to be ignoring because they are hooping for the story Miller wrote. I think that story can only work in a comic. This movie is looking more and more like a muddled mess. I feel for those who want it to work, but the reality is...
1. Horrible casting for Lex Luthor ( popularity contest that will be a laughing stock)
2. Afflecks casting is just about as bad ( they wanted star power).
3. Terrible cgi so far Doomsday look awful (Incredible Hulk anyone? MOS had way too much CGI as well, but I still liked it)
4. Wonder woman? Why?
5. Aquaman? Why?
6. Too much to fit in one film, which means shallow mess)
7. Lead smoke bombs? (Lets hope that stupid idea is just internet speculation)

Its really a case of hoping for the best and having blinders on. I sympathize for DC fans who really have high hope for this, but it looks like they have to pull more and more rabbits outs of a hat to make this work.

Full disclosure ...I am not huge DC fan....Batman I love, best comic superhero created....but as more of a casuel DC guy, I really am reading some over the top hype here from people who really really want this to work....

I sympathize , but as a casual DC fan it looks pretty bad based on the material so far. Lets hope I am wrongs as a flop from this film will kill alot of future projects.

Jaws was correct this feels rushed like an attempt to jump on the team up bandwagon.

The story is completely different, with the only similarity being the fight between Bats and Sups, and even their reason for fighting is different from the Miller book.

1. Horrible casting for Lex Luthor ( popularity contest that will be a laughing stock)

It's too early to tell if the casting was bad because we haven't seen the film. How is it a popularity contest? Everyone wanted the Breaking Bad guy to play Luthor because a he played a popular bald villain on tv :lol

2. Afflecks casting is just about as bad ( they wanted star power).

They wanted star power and a talented Oscar winning filmmaker. I think even the biggest Affleck haters don't have a problem with the casting anymore. If anything, he looks like the best thing in the film.

3. Terrible cgi so far Doomsday look awful (Incredible Hulk anyone? MOS had way too much CGI as well, but I still liked it)

Looks as mediocre as any other Hobbit, SW, or Marvel CGI character.

4. Wonder woman? Why?
5. Aquaman? Why?

Because it's the dawn of justice.

6. Too much to fit in one film, which means shallow mess)

The movie is about two characters fighting each other and later on teaming up to fight a monster...it's not Lord of the Rings :lol

7. Lead smoke bombs? (Lets hope that stupid idea is just internet speculation)

I didn't know about this, but is that too much? Kryptonite weapons are ok, but a lead smoke bomb is too much? Ok.
