Hmmm, a 9am IMAX 3D show on Friday. It will probably cost more than usual but Mr. Green might wake up early enough to see it.

Watch records fall this weekend......I'm seeing it Friday Imax 3D but darn it there better be a Suicide Squad trailer before it

Spanish = ignore

I did my best to translate the review.

Batman vs Superman is plagued with a gratuitous story with the only purpose being to compete with Marvel.The only objective of this film is to lay the ground work for Justice League in a rushed way.

BvS is erratic and incapable of giving personality or logic to the arcs of the narrative. It resolves every conflict with a knot using the most basic lines of dialogue and it pretends that the audience accepts the evolution of the drama. It's impossible not to laugh in the final encounter when you see the ridiculous and rushed way it all ends.

BvS is a film saturated with characters and filled with inconsistent story lines. While MOS is a film that tries to maintain a certain level of realism rooted in science fiction, this sequel deviates from that any chance that it gets.

It's a real shame,when you consider that Superman is the center of different story arcs that had they been developed properly it would have made a proper continuation to MOS.

Affleck works as Batman, but in the end, he's not worthy of the tittle of "the definitive Batman", which has been given to him by the marketing campaign. On the other hand, this version of the character is adventurous and without a doubt it'll be controversial, given the actions of the character.

Eisenberg's Luthor is interesting, it's a mixture of Mark Zuckerberg from the social network and any generic sociopath that's the product of bad parents. It's a peculiar angle, but not very convincing either.

The rest of the cast plays it safe and accurate to the character's origin, but you have to be able to suspend disbelief to believe that Gal Gadot has the physical stature and attributes or presence that Wonder Woman requires.

BVS is a wasted opportunity that will be polarizing. It will be loved by those who want to see a comic based film rooted in fantasy, while those who loved the realistic tone of MOS will be disappointed.

The problem is not limited to the approach, BVS has structural problems and narrative flaws. WB's competitive mindset with Marvel got the best of them, and in return, it buried the high expectations that we had of this film...the first film that finally gave us the most iconic DC heroes.

So, mainly, his/her problem is that the film isn't too "realistic"? Eh, I don't go to comic-book movies to see the evolution of society through the glasses of the middle class, I go to see a man dressed as a bat kick ass in his high-tech suit. So, the complaints aren't really faults IMO. Now, if the problem is the clash between realism and fantasy, which is what I was afraid of due to all the pseudo-intellectual "God vs Man" BS, I am kinda worried.

Still, it's one review. It's hitting theatres here in Thursday, but I'll go regardless of the reviews. The embargo lifts in a few hours IIANM, so we'll see what the general consensus is.

Can't say I am surprised.

Geez mate, you're acting like you have a horse in this race.
