I updated the the translated review....I missed a few things the first time. Basically, he says it's rushed and it was made just to set up JL.

Was there much difference? I recently saw the almost-4-hour version, and apart from the ghost ship animated story, I don't remember anything else being added.
There was a LOT added to the WATCHMEN Director's Cut... the whole subplot of Hollis Mason's murder, more stuff with the Bernies at the newsstand, etc. It's about 20 minutes or so longer than the Theatrical Cut.
The version with the animated Black Freighter cut in is an all-together different cut (called "Ultimate" Cut, it has that plus a few more scenes with the Newsstand).
They're just mad that Aztek isn't the star of this movie. . .OR IS HE??????????

YOURS was the first review and I'm happy to hear what you said......so this stuff will go on for months back and forth- I am SO pumped for Friday when I see it at last.
Yeah. For the record, I don't care if people don't like it, love it or hate it. I really don't. Just say so, and own it without all the unnecessary posturing and hyperbole. But also try to stick to facts. Don't make up ******** like this Spanish reviewer did.

I hope not. There's really no need for that. There will be lots of varied opinions (which is human nature) but I honestly see no reason why the movie would be that polarizing. Unless people just WANT it to be.
