I don't know much about their methodology, except that they say they poll moviegoers at the theater. And that is a more appropriate approach than going by internet reviews, which will be a biased sample. Of course, you're still going to have considerations such as sample size, random selection of theaters (or not), and bias in terms of who does or doesn't respond.

Their website says the sample is "statistically robust," which is on the right track.

Yeah. Plus the truth is the average moviegoer is MUCH easier on movies than folks on the internet. I think we all probably know people who aren't really "nerds" but like pretty much every big movie they go see.

The soundtrack is generic but works well in the film.
Batman cues are pretty awesome TBH, and the title music is great.

The MoS theme for Superman has grown on me quite a bit. I really like it. I don't think it touches the classic John Williams score but there's just some emotion behind it that I really dig. I can't remember how I felt about the soundtrack back in 2013, but I like Superman's cues now. That track, Beautiful Lie is really good too along with Batman's cues.

I hated Wonder Woman's and Lex Luthor's though within the context of the movie. I was ****ing laughing my ass of when, out of no where, Bruce finds that old sepia pic of Wonder Woman and it starts playing that obnoxious guitar theme. :lol It just didn't fit well in my opinion and it felt like the movie screeched to a halt when the WW and Justice League stuff just started pouring in. That bombastic theme for Lex during his little montage with the jolly rancher and gaining access to the Kryptonian ship was bad too.

Right, that's why I think their scores are probably pretty spot on.

There's a parallel in national support for certain political candidates that most analysts, pundits, and policy wonks cannot stand.

:yess:

By itself it's really good and operatic, but in the movie it seemed inappropriate for what was being displayed on screen. You know what though, there's something about it that reminds me of the Riddler, like I'm in the gears of someone's brain.

Same here! I was actually going to post something very similar after just listening to it again. :hi5:

Yea, that Wonder Woman picture scene gave me a good laugh :lol

Completely agree.

It's pretentiously pompous, just like Lex. :lol

It seems "grim n' gritty" stopped being the keyword. "Fun" has replaced it...

Oh no....

No GL would be a big disappointment. He, Bats and Hawkman my fav DC characters

I would love if they brought Hawkman into this.

If there must be jokes, these are the types of jokes I want.

My list would be pretty unconventional, as I mostly go for the lesser known characters like Doctor Fate, Mister Miracle and the like. Not that I don't like the Big Names, it's just that I find the lesser known characters a tad more intriguing.

As for Aquaman, this seems so... strange. They turn him into a mix between Poseidon and Conan, they release his photo in almost black and white, they advertise grim n' gritty, and now they're going for fun? Aquaman ain't really a "fun" character. He's a bad-ass King who can summon Cthulhus... Eh, I guess we;ll see...

I honestly can't stop thinking about this movie, it's The VVitch of Superhero movies. :lol

I want that extended cut NOW!

I just want to see more pieces of this insane puzzle.
