U2's was better.

Yeah I like that one of theirs.

Been listening to the BvS soundtrack on youtube and it seems to confirm what I thought after seeing the film - the Zimmer Superman theme never really takes off into full ''Flight'' for some reason. It just does the opening notes and some of the low-key melancholy piano parts, it doesn't seem to kick into high gear at any point. What's with that? Strange choice.

Anyway, my favourite parts are definitely Luthor's theme and Wonder Woman's music. The Batman theme....it's not crap, it's just not very distinctive compared to other Batman themes we've had over the years.

And then imagine the instant disappointment when you see this

Instead of this ^^

They didn't even give DD the bone goatee...which would make sense for him to have one since Zod had a goatee :dunno

He really does resemble the new bay turtles. Could pass for the new raph

I thought Batman not killing and not branding Lex was a reflection of his line "I'm not gonna fail him in death".

Maybe Superman's sacrifice changed Batman's "tired, don't give a ****" idiosyncrasy and made him go back to his old moral code.

Yeah, it's more suited for the quieter Bruce Wayne scenes like when he's in the cave looking at the suit or in the dilapidated Wayne Manor talking to Alfred before he goes to fight Superman. It was utilized really well when Batman was on the crane with the sniper rifle too, from what I remember.

This one was my favorite, from the Mad Max Batman scene.

It sounds crazy. Love it at 1:25 when he flies out of the truck door.

Yeah but people in the movie aren't sure that Superman isn't killing and Batman saw him as a threat so why would he suddenly ''not kill'' to honour Superman.

Or you know..... there is the obvious reason Batman doesn't kill Lex.

He wants to see Lex rot in jail for the rest of his life after all he has done. Batman doesn't think Lex will escape. Of course he will though :lol

:monkey3

I like the theory though :D
Eeeh you were just waiting to use that pic on me :lol Another one :lol maybe he realizes that he could use Lex's knowledge when Darkseid arrives so that's why he didn't kill him or branded him.

Hell, what if by whatever reason Lex realizes he's ****ed up? So Batman drafts him, not as a member of the Justice League, but to help anyway.

I was thinking along the same lines re: not branding Lex. It's mentioned on tv that the brand is a death sentence in prison (or something like that). The "Martha" bit and flashback IMO was also a wake up call to him that he was actually on the cusp of being a straight up murderer.
