Yeah I don't think mass shooters deserve any benefit of the doubt. What they did supersedes all other considerations.

Without going too far off topic, I have a lot of sympathy for people with mental illness in general. I see it up-close in a lot of the work our office does. It's particularly heartbreaking with kids. But I agree with you, that sometimes the motivation, or even ability to make rational choices is irrelevant. One of the unfortunate side-effects of our having a modern system of law is that folks can and do game the system. And there are always those with politically motivated agendas ready to pounce, one way or the other. And that ultimately harms everyone who really does need treatment in, say, a mental health court, of being painted with an unfair brush.

Makes snyder's ant man comment even worse because as dumb as ant man is as a concept at least they weren't ashamed of it.

I don't like Thor movies at all but there were no Petri dishes there... Thor is cheesy sometime but they gave it.the same respect that iron man or capt america gets...

Even the super girl who did a good Martian, wtf are they doing? A tv show is doing better things than a 200 million movie...

But then there's the Hasselhoff Fury TV movie, Blade Trinity, Man of Steel, and Batman V Superman.

Well, by responding I'm naturally staying off topic but....

Yeah I agree with that. By all means worry about mental health to prevent mass shootings but when it's already happened why waste any time or money. What possible rehabilitation is there for those who have actually gone ahead and done it. Why would anyone even want to see redemption for such an individual.

So if we apply it to Batman, yeah I absolutely think he should be let off the hook if he ever kills Joker. And that's why Daredevil season 2 was so compelling (at least the first half) because I could certainly understand where The Punisher was coming from, I could understand his exasperation with Daredevil's argument.

Contrary to earlier reports of WB reducing their films, they actually added two which is safe to say, one is Batman.

I was thinking yesterday that what they need to do is release the extended version on screen, which more than likely help them get that Billion dollar barrier which everyone seems to be focusing on to not declare it a flop.
The movie being split, if you can get most of the ones who love the movie to go see it again to see the extended version, that can help push for another 100-200M or more.



WONDER WOMAN Gets New Release Date As Two More 'Untitled' DCEU Films Get Added To WB's Slate

THR reports that two more, 'Untitled' DCEU films are slated for Oct. 5, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2019. The studio has also secured the date of Oct. 6, 2017 for an Untitled WB Event film. Here's an updated list of the current DCEU release schedule.
