And here I thought you were a fan.

Hey, I've missed a lot of the specific discussions in this thread so forgive me if I'm late to this but do we know what Luthor's characterization is based on?

As far as his personality goes, the best I can come up with is young Luthor from Geoff's Superman: Secret Origin.

Nah, Spider-Man exists in some from of Limbo alongside Batman and his dead parents. Kidding aside, it's really strange that they're so fixated on his high school years, when in the comics he was out of there by issue 20-something or so (IIRC that is).

Now that Marvel is involved, he might go to college

Based on the actor's own personality. His own jumpiness and twitches...
I'm not joking.

Six times?! I saw TFA twice but didn't really get anything out of the second viewing that I didn't get with the first. Definitely wouldn't have paid to see it on SIX separate occasions :lol

When they got to the last scene in the jail cell and he was ranting with snot coming out his nose the whole performance made sense to me. They turned Luthor into Renfield from Dracula.

I've never seen a movie still in 1st place coming up into its 3rd weekend being considered a bomb. :lol

It literally had NO big competition....... Nothing major coming out... It is number 1 by default.

It's like joining a middle school bicycle race with an expensive motorcycle.......

Tho movie was lucky no other studio wanted to bother

I'm very confused about this myself.
In quite a few sites, there's many people saying worst case scenario, it might reach a little over 900 Million, but I've also read quite a few statements saying the chances of making a billion is slim.
The movie made 700M in under two weeks...sure, the numbers are gonna go down, but is it really hard to reach another 300 million during its run?
