can't trust the pull out method........
I don't think Doomsday was even packing a Kryptonian Prison Rocket.

IV is a great "comic book" story. Maybe doesn't translate so well to a movie, but I like the idea of Luthor cloning Supes (just don't get why Nuclear Man didn't look like Reeve!)

Doesn't bode well for Zod and Luthor....as I recall he was made from their dna
Lol. So Reeve is to blame for Snyder's Death Wish Supes.Just a guess[emoji38]
How did you come to that conclusion, crows? From where I'm standing, it was clear to me that this was the first time he actually put Superman before Clark Kent. By and large, the entire reason he's called before Congress is because of what happened in Africa, which was largely due to his intervening as Superman in a situation that was really about Clark Kent (saving his girlfriend). Then, Wally bombs Washington, and he's left blaming himself for being conflicted and not knowing which aspect of his life to prioritize. Throughout both movies, you have his mom and dad basically saying that anything he does is his choice, but, as far as they're concerned, the world can go to hell, which, honestly, the more I think about it, seems pretty realistic for parents. You see it a lot of times when people want to join the military, or, really, any time. I don't have kids, but I can't imagine that there's anything more terrifying than the thought of losing your child, or anything more painful than when you do, so, while it is difficult for me to reconcile these people with the kindhearted and selfless Kents we've known since the 1930s, I can appreciate the thought process going into creating these versions of the characters.
The point I'm trying to make is that this has always been on Clark's shoulders. He never had the guidance that comic Superman did because, like normal people would, if put into such a situation, his parents didn't have a ****ing clue, and it shows because, throughout both movies, he wears the suit, and he saves people, and he does all of these things that Superman does, but he hasn't quite figured out what he wants, yet, or, moreover, who he is, and I think that's why his death is the turning point. That's why he says goodbye to Lois, and that's why they didn't try to trick everyone into believing he'll stay dead, because his ultimate sacrifice acts as the realization of him becoming Superman. He's willing to give up everything he held dear; Lois, his mother; to save the world, and you can't get much more Super than that.
Reeve Superman spun the ****** earth backwards...just...for...Lois!
Yup, not world hunger or AIDS...Lois, who isn't even nice to Clark. Even Sups' parents were like, "let the witch die!"
That seems to be a theme with superheroes. Bale Batman had snarky turtle Rachel. Snyder Superman has nasty invisible-nips Lois. Mary Jane Snagglepuss. Ungrateful scarecrow Pepper Potts. Thor likes the prequels. No wonder Hawkeye doesn't talk about anything with these weirdos.

You can now add Joker to that list of guys with annoying girlfriends
Vicki Vale is still the most annoying superhero girlfriend of all time.
Just a guess
Hehe, true. Though I wouldn't have minded Reeve in this outfit...
Why didn't he just have Wonder Woman do it? He could have even switched her sword with his spear so he could still help finish the fight. Maybe he really was trying to kill himself. He just gave up on the world.
