Lee and Kirby were/are Jewish, Lee is the one who handed Kirby over to Pontius Pilate. :lol

:lol

Pretty much all that was going through my head when reading these latest posts about Bob Kane, Stand Lee, Jack Kirby, etc. It's like this in pretty much every industry, gee, I wonder . . .

I'm going to print out a few hundred copies of this pic and stand outside my church and hand them to people who are entering. "May the Hand of God be with you."

Well, one can't deny the control they have in the industry or the foundations they created.

All share the same church...impressive..most impressive.

Lee
Kirby
Kane
Finger
Simon (Cap)
Siegal (Superman)
Shuster (Superman)
Iger (Disney CEO)
Perlmutter (Marvel Chairman / CEO, Toybiz)
Arad (Marvel CEO / Chairman)
Perelman (Marvel Chairman)
Icahn (Marvel Chairman)

Kevin Feige must feel like an outcast. :lol

I had breakfast with Jim Lee and I didn't know who he was until people came over for his autograph. He hogged the orange juice.

Wait until you have lunch with Todd Mcfarlane. :lol

Did you?

I met him too. He was nice but came off kinda dumb. He was talking about giving a plumbers crack to one of his LOST figures to one of the LOST actors who was trying desperately to look amused.

He's a glorified Liefeld. The only difference is that he can sort of draw feet.

His weakness are the knees though.... In his drawings.

A couple of days later he was an outright **** to a friend of mine. I would say he's a more educated Liefeld (technically). But I guess glorified works too.

Like DBZ characters :lol

I don't mind that, actually.

:lol what happened?

My buddy had the nerve to approach him for an autograph while he was loitering around the floor at NYCC (this was few years ago before NYCC kinda blew up). He might be the only person I've ever seen utter an honest, audible "pfffft." He did sign, but it was so unpleasant as to ruin the experience.

Just to put it into my personal perspective, this was just as the Walking Dead TV show was reaching critical mass. Kirkman had a line a mile long and I watched him call fans back to his table to talk more after he had signed.

I'm not an autograph seeker per se but those two moments stuck with me.

What a ****!

I can only imagine how your buddy felt, I would've been "it's alright, sorry to bother you", and turn down the autograph.
