There had already been far too much in the film by the time the BvS fight rolled around, then they added Doomsday in, and even killed Supes off as well. Too much.

1. Hopeman needed another solo film to become the real Superman before dying
2. "Batman vs Superman" story doesn't need characters like Doomsday
3. Doomsday wasn't even a character but a dull plot device to connect BvS with JL

I don't expect the extended cut will magically turn it to a different movie. I'm just expecting/hoping for

- better editing

- acknowledgement that Batman has become a murdering phyco (or deleting it altogether lol)

- expansion on the whole Africa/Senator/Scoot Mcnairy plot. To make more sense and actually tie into the movie more

- expansion on Superman's motivations for hating Batman

- Lex Luther motivations explained (probably won't)

Darkseid arrives

Superman has not appeared yet.

It turns out those were imposter Kents mind-****ing Bizarro all these years.
It's really Ultraman, I tell you. I figured it out half-way through Man of Steel.

I don't think they went far enough, should've had Darkseid arrive after Doomsday was defeated.

That's all?

I really don't see the big deal about killing Superman in this film. Particularly, when everyone's equally pissed about Snyder following Singer's lead and using Superman as a Christ allegory. Anyone who is even halfway familiar with Christian theology knows that the idea of Christ wasn't fully realized until after the Resurrection. I mean, between this and MoS, this whole story has been Clark Kent searching for his place in the world, and, by the end of the movie, we see that he's finally found it.

Moral of the story: Can't have a Christ allegory without a resurrection.: lol

do i need to post the priest review of this movie again? :lol

even a freaking priest hated it and didnt buy the " Christ allegory" at all, Or just to quote him, Superman is a "Slacker" he has all this power but doesnt really know what to do with it or doesnt really care.

Jesus was never a Slacker, he always did the right thing, Jesus always chose to help others, never had any selfish thoughts, If anything the Christ allegories makes this movie fall on its face even more. because Superman was nothing like Jesus except for the hammy imagery in the background

He never hated Batman...he just looks angry (when he's not sad). He didn't even arrest Batman after Bats killed a bunch of people with his car. :lol
