I don't think anyone at DC knows what's going on. It'll probably end up being too much crammed into one film like BvS. Then they'll need a director's cut release for it all to make sense. Someone needs to take over and get their **** together so everyone is on the same page.

Isn't that what Geoff Johns is supposed to be doing?

The conflating and interpretations of them, yes. And certainly how they're reported.

When asked about the two films, Deborah Snyder tells us:

We’re only ever planning and we are only doing Justice League, just Justice League. One movie.

Not two parts?

“No.”

Later in the day when we talked to director Zack Snyder, he seemed sure that a second Justice League movie was still happening. Here is an excerpt from that interview:

Is the second Justice League movie still tethered to this? Is that something that you still plan to direct? It was sort of announced early on in a shareholders meeting, but it sounds like they’re closing that off for now?

I think we still have a release date.

Am I missing something?

To me, it sounds like DC is making another BvS mistake by making one movie that should be split into two films. I suppose we'll get a nice 20-second Superman resurrection scene in Justice League. Maybe Superman will inform Bruce Wayne that he's back by email.

I decided awhile ago that I'm done with the future movies after Suicide Squad. Zod, I'd suggest you do the same, just for your own sanity.

Probably not a bad idea. I may be too much of a fan to enjoy what DC is doing with their movie universe. I'm looking forward to Wonder Woman, but Suicide Squad is going to be a big disappointment, I think.

Nah, WB/DC still have time to turn things around and recover.
