Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 24th, 2016)

Probably not a bad idea. I may be too much of a fan to enjoy what DC is doing with their movie universe. I'm looking forward to Wonder Woman, but Suicide Squad is going to be a big disappointment, I think.

Since I didn't grow up with the characters in Suicide Squad I'm not as invested in them so I'm thinking the movie will actually be pretty entertaining. It looks over the top, but I think a lot of the genre films I enjoyed growing up were that way. As for WW, there's no need for me to see her for the first time on the big screen anymore because BvS took care of that. Good job WB.

If I can get over the ****** Joker I may enjoy Suicide Squad for what it is. As for Wonder Woman, I'd rather see solo movies from all the Trinity before jumping into Justice League. DC has to get me invested in these versions of the characters before killing them off or whatever they have planned. They are rushing the big stories to get to the nerdgasm moment where all the Justice League heroes are standing together for the first time on screen--just like they did with BvS and the Trinity.

It was never planned as a two part movie. It was planned that we would get JL and then a JL 2 was on the schedule, I don't ever remember it announced as a two part story. Right? I also don't remember them saying Zach would direct the second one. I remember a interview with Deborah when BvS came out talking about someone else doing the second JL 2.

Snyder can't make one conflicting remark without fans going ape s*** over his "incompentence"...I have read lots of staggeringly incoherent remarks from several MCU directors without much of a ripple(Wheldon anyone?)
He can't win but ultimately he probably doesn't give a s*** what fanboys tirade against..he's hired by WB and that's all that matters. Armchair directors abound here.

To me, it sounds like DC is making another BvS mistake by making one movie that should be split into two films. I suppose we'll get a nice 20-second Superman resurrection scene in Justice League. Maybe Superman will inform Bruce Wayne that he's back by email.
