Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 24th, 2016)

Yeah I had read it before in a meme, which lead me to research that, found the same post and all , pretty cool.

I'm betting in the "return", while Supes is being resurrected, maybe by the JL or maybe by DS or his henchmen, Apokolips tech may or not be part of it, he's gonna have his 3rd and final Pa Kent hallucination, during which he tells him that he belongs to the land of the living, mirroring the story from the Death of Superman, then wake up and confront his 3rd boss fight saving the JL and joining them, becoming the Superman everyone's expecting

I could be wrong though, I think at this point the possibility of a sort of "injustice" evil Superman story can't be entirely ruled out.

At the very least I hope we get more knightmare future scenes, and if rumors are to be believed, JL starts with that timeline and Flash delivering the message to Bruce

Well i watched.
The africa scene is great, yu forget yur in a cbm feels like a political thriller and the intervention of Supes has so much power.
The rythm is really cool, it takes its time. The cop from the opening have a brief into scene that sets up the mood for Gotham.
Wow really just 20 minutes in and im in heaven.
This is gonna be sooooo good.

I so wanted to see the Ultimate Cut on the big screen and now they are ****ing doing it and it ain't screening anywhere near me. Praying they roll it out to more places over the next couple of weeks. Still hoping they do an Ultimate Cut-Suicide Squad double feature.

Just finished watching.

It was awesome.
This is the movie that should have been released (thanks to the ****ing haters who scared the studio with their its gonna be too long and crowded blah blah)
It takes it time to set everything up clearer , meaner, ballsier.
Snyder is clearly doing a watchmen spin on Superman (there is a wink to watchmen actually) and i absolutely love it.
Ive seen the theatrical recently so everything that was new even the little shots or added details Jumped right at me.
The Luthor plan is devilishly well oiled, he has scenes, lines, shots added that accentuate his persona, powers.
The build up to the capitol scene is Perfect now, the aftermath too (a little exchange with Supes and an emergency guy says it all)
Superman struggle is felt more. The build up to the big fight also works way better, Clark investigation gives more reason for him to act vs bat.
You get some Nice extra fight beats in the nightmare, bat vs supes, and the trinity vs Doomsday (who makes more victims in metropolis).
I loved the whole spy, political thriller, Luthor plan. As i said the africa scene is really cool, more players are involved.
Yu Forget yur in a comic book movie yur in Jason bourne or whatever and then bam Superman is there!!! Powerfull set up.
Everything that is added is great and really serves the movie.
Actually im impressed What they managed to cut and still make a good movie.
Snyder really made a particular film that ambitious, and rare in the genre.
As other said if yu didnt like the theatrical because of the tone or because its not yur Childhood Supes then move on, if its because of pacing or directing issues then yu should absolutely have a blast.
I still do think that Doomsday shpuld have kept out and just do bat vs Supes but hey its done.

I so envy you guys who Will get to enjoy it in the theatres, yur are a bunch of lucky sobs.

I hope that Snyder Will keep the same ambition and keep giving the finger to the know it all temple guardians.
That he keep telling the story he wanted to. Its been dark times for Supes bat and wonder woman (her lines about why she left humanity résonante even more in the aftermath of Supes death. The world superman revealed himself to was the one Diana left. A new one Will rise for the JLA members but also for humanity. Supes inspired everyone and so yes JLA can be brighter and not contradict MOS or BVS)
This is What cinema should be, a directors vision not flavor of the week **** conceived by exec pumped out from a **** factory.

Sounds good. What about the "R" rating? Is the violence more graphic now?

A bit more violence, but I didn't see it completely, just skimmed through it since the framerate is bad.

Just a bit more blood in some extended scenes, one murder in particular, some ass that you're gonna like and you can see Doomsday killing Supes more clearly. I think that's it if I didn't miss anything major.

In africa yu get some blood splatters when the guys are shot.
The branded guy gets stabbed in prison, not graphic but quite rough tho.
In Bats warehouse fight you can see the fist impacts are more violents, teeths flies, some blood on the wall when the guys gets hit with the big crate.
Bats goes back to the guy he knifed to the wall and punches him, his scream is used as a transition to the next shot of the room where Martha is.
Yu get bodies in africa burned by Anatoli, bodies in the aftermath of the capitol.
Its more intense but not too graphic, dont expect watchmen unrated cut violence with visible broken limbs.
Its no more kid friendly that is for sure.
Not that the theatrical was.

Edit yeah supermans death is framed a but wider yu get to see more.

What I liked really is how Luthor devilish ruthless plan interconnects with the build up of bat vs Supes (not just a bunch of photos or one liners), lois investigation too.

I love that it's not aimed at kids.
It's an intense movie with adult situations, violent acts and treated seriously. It goes beyond the genre and that's ballsy.
