Ultimate cut doesn't change much really. I liked the movie before, liked the ultimate, but didn't see that it added that much.

Pretty sure a lot of people use the excuse of the ultimate cut to say they like the film and not feel ridiculous for having spat on it before.

Not the best movie there is, but not deserving the bashing it got. Just an average movie with interesting views on the characters and a Bunch of Easter eggs.

Better than most Marvel, or at least less quickly seen and forgotten, with deeper, more elaborate scenario...

I prefer the Ultimate cut more than the theatrical cut (and I really liked the theatrical cut). I just think the UC fleshes out the story more.

Agreed... There are a few things in the theatrical version that make little sense without the added information the ultimate cut provides. Though if I don't have 3 hours, I can watch the theatrical version because I know what's missing and have a better understanding of things ha

No response. I guess BvS killed Rush.

Almost put me to sleep. I watched the theatrical, the movie Needed at least 30 minutes cut from it, not added to it.

I had no problem with Affleck being cast, but I just don't get how everybody is so excited about his portrayal, he wasn't great, wasn't bad.

Movie was a mess, Singer knows visuals, but he has no idea how to tell a story. Seriously, F4 had a more coherent story.

I knew JE would be awful, and I was right. AA just taking up space as usual. Lots of unnecessary plot sidetracks.

The fight was okay. I liked WW.

I could go into detail, but I think a lot of what I could say has already been said. Besides, right now I feel like I have a BVS hangover.

I will agree it is probably more memorable than other movies, but it doesn't make it good.

My Wife's parting words upon finishing the movie last night, "I can't believe I just Wasted 2 1/2 hours on that ****." and she almost never uses profanity.

I guess 4.5/10 is my rating. With a lot of cuts, recasting and maybe some minimal reshoots this could have been a good movie. As it is, it's not absolutely horrible but it's not good either.

I wish my woman could dissect movies. After the flick I asked her what she thought and all she said was Superman was hawt.

But then again she sees movies solely as they are, entertainment.

I guess I should have prayed for you.:lol

I pretty much agree with what you put in your post but I believe my score was higher than yours. I think seeing the visuals in the theater made me more forgiving.

As a long time fan of Batman and Superman, this film was the biggest disappointment of my adult life and my most underwhelming cinematic experience. Age of Ultron, X Men 3, Indiana Jones 4, and The Joker in SS round out the top 5 of biggest disappointments :monkey2

Damn that's real. I want to say Apocalypse did the same for me but I found the trailers to be so underwhelming that I kind of felt it was going to suck.

For me it really needed to be a Superman and a Batman who we've seen and loved in separate films before joining them up in order to have the requisite impact. I knew going in that I wasn't getting that so I don't know if I can describe it as the biggest disappointment of my adult life - I was expecting to be disappointed and it didn't disappoint, I was disappointed.

The ultimate cut really is no better than the theatrical. One of the extra bits is a shot of Affleck in the shower for Christ's sake :lol:lol
