Buena mijo!

Just got around to watching this thing, the 3 hour version. My God this is a horrible movie. Dark and depressing from start to finish. Glad I didn't waste any money seeing it at the theater.

You think that was dark and depressing can you imagine Zach Snyder's meeting with the WB executioners after the movie failed to break 1B.

If I were him I'd be flipping tables and saying "and THAT's why you don't ****ing spoil the greatest moments in the film months before release. Next time let me cut my own trailers!" :cuss

Yeah seriously. :lol

I would've had Lois walking around confused with her bullet in the trailers, maybe a quick shot of Superman's dad in the mountain.

Then everyone would've been blown away by the cool stuff.

"Best movie ever!". :lol

or cut 30 minutes from his masterpiece....
did they learn NOTHING from watchmen

They shouldn't have shown Batman fighting Sups. The stare down, some Lex scenes, Sups saving stuff, and some random action shots from the final battle without showing WW or DD would've been enough. No nightmare scene either, just Sups unmaking Bats was enough.

Agreed on all counts. Weren't almost all of Civil War's scenes shown in the trailer mostly just the Black Panther chase and mayhem from the Crossbones' heist with just the two shots of the heroes running toward each other at the airport and that one sequence of Cap and Bucky double-teaming IM? Pretty much everything other than that double-team moment was peripheral to "the good stuff."

It's not like Doomsday was another Crossbones who was spoiled by inevitable cell phone pics taken on location. He was a fully CG creation and all of his action took place on closed green screen sets. He would have been the easiest secret in the world to keep. :gah:

The Civil War trailer even removed Spiderman from the team running towards each other sequence, and they didn't show Giant Man.

Yep, we had no idea how significant Spider-Man's presence would be. But then to see him take part in the battle, wrapping up Giant-Man while making ESB references, it was freaking nerdgasm overload to have that all unfold at once totally unspoiled.

WB hamstrung any reason for many people to plunk down cash for repeat viewings. So dumb to show virtually the entire warehouse scene at the opening of that one trailer. How many of us watched THAT sequence over and over and over.

If you wanted to see Spidey in action you had to pay 15 bucks.

If you wanted to see Batman's best action scene all you had to do was pull it up on youtube.
