Yeah, which is why it would've been nice to get an additional Batman fighting sequence. Even the first Batman and Sups encounter on top of the Batmobile after it crashed was given away in the trailers :lol To be fair, I thought that scene would be longer in the film.

doomsday reveal would have been awesome in theaters

Though he was too big and not spiky enough, I liked that we finally saw a movie Superman take on a monster. At the start flying up and stopping DD's fist and then knocking him on his ass. Was nice. :)

he looked like a Cave troll but that reveal would have been crazy.
Even if people talked about it online, Even if you knew, still seeing him in theaters would have been so great.

the trailer completely destroyed that lol

That as well as WW saving Batman and making her cinematic debut with a cool theme after 76 years. Then the trinity shot...all wasted.

Had the movie delivered many more thrills I believe the bad marketing would've been forgiven.

agreed, though if you stand back and look at BvS' structure, it's packed full with thrilling moments. They were just wasted for marketing.

you have superman in the desert (a great scene in the UC an utter waste in the TC)
then the intro to batman with the cops
the knightmare scene
batmobile chase
the showdown
the warehouse scene
doomsday/WW reveal
trinity fight

and I may even be missing something.

the problem is, 6 of those 8 scenes were spoiled in trailers.

He just needed his comic book spikes. The rest was fine.

Well sure, if you add a jutting bone beard to change the cave troll head shape completely (looks like other PS edits were made to resize/reshape the head), and add other things on the head to disguise the cave troll face, then he would look less like a cave troll. But, they didn't do that. So, cave troll.

Eh, the beastly aesthetics didn't bother me much.
If I remember correctly we already talked about it...
I even posted my edit (can't find the original post tho):

8 short moments in a TWO hour movie :lol

Movies aren't all about action- even superhero movies. CW has tons of some of the most pointless battles with no purpose if you pay attention to the "plot":lol

Yeah movies arent all about action but when the trailers advertise non stop action........
