The wording makes it sound very ****ed up, but the sentiment seems no worse to me than someone saying "[x] is rolling over in his grave at the sight of what this world has become." Saying it on Mother's Day for shock value? Yeah, that's pretty ****ed up.

Eh, I can see the similarities, but I'd wager in any case, it's pretty ****ed up.
