Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Well, if people were utilizing their potential, as the post (from Luthor's P.O.V) suggested, maybe less of that stuff would happen, or, at the very least, there would be enough good to equal it, thus, rendering it balanced. Bad **** happens in the world, there's no doubt about that, but the world can also be beautiful and fulfilling if we choose to embrace those aspects of it and not drown in the negative. Damn, I'm really "zen" tonight; I bet hot yoga chicks would be all over me right about now.:lol

You, having to explain that, makes this thread look like Santa Prisca from Rises :lol

Nothing but hopeless, sad souls here.

Well said, DC movies for whatever reason have to be perfect in order to get some recognition on here, but Marvel has had some absolute horrible scenes make it into their films and it’s never a problem.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

...and Pa Kent got sucked into the sequel to Twister; yeah, I got it the first 450 times. I just don't think that some singular, poorly executed elements can render an entire film, and any and all of its merits, null and void.

There was nothing exaggerated about that being bad. That was absolutely horrid and should've been cut, and would have by a director who cared about what he was filming.

Nobody's asking for perfect, but apparently to some, asking for the characters to at least remotely resemble their comic counterparts is too much. :lol

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

The Xmen movies had some characters that were completely out of character, so have the Marvel movies, which make both Nolan Batman and MoS look like copy/paste of their comic counter parts in comparison.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Or . . . Disney's Marvel and DC: Avengers vs. The Justice League!

anything is possible

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

You know what though? DCCU's biggest problem so far, is that they go from one extreme to the other - & then wonder why **** ain't working. :lol

A few truly GREAT films between 1978 to now - & the rest is misfires & COSTLY dead time in between that.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Opinion on the current news;

Doesn't matter how bad some people think MoS was and how great Marvel is doing, a 1st Batman vs Superman movie IS bigger than anything Marvel can throw, but DC/WB wants the full box office and Cap3 is most capable of hindering them in that aspect, so I see BvS moving the date if they even do.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I just think, DC has to find what tone they want for their Universe. Do they want go the grounded route, or the fantasy route. Once they get that down, I think their new universe will really shine. MOS wasn’t horrible, but I think it suffered from too much outside interference. Snyder will make BvsS work now that he’s really building this universe the way he wants to.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

I see Batman vs. Superman moving because I never thought the May 16th date was anything more than a tentative release marker. 10 months is a pretty massive delay, so, I wouldn't be surprised if they moved it up, considerably, as more progress was made.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Yup, I believe they have mentioned the possibility of an earlier release, besides, Marvel at this point has nothing to loose, one mistake and people will forgive them as usual, DC/WB are apparently threading on thin ice all the time no matter what.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Since I'm not supporting WB DC movies I couldn't care less about Cap being released the same day.

I'm DC's ***** until they do something to make me hate them.
I've been a DC fan since before I could read, and I'll stay a DC fan until I kick the bucket.
1. Fan means supporter, but in your case it's blind following
2. That's why your opinion on this subject is extremely biased and has little value

Just saying :monkey3
