I just think, DC has to find what tone they want for their Universe. Do they want go the grounded route, or the fantasy route. Once they get that down, I think their new universe will really shine. MOS wasn’t horrible, but I think it suffered from too much outside interference. Snyder will make BvsS work now that he’s really building this universe the way he wants to.

Eh... I just hate the idea it's a DC Universe built by Snyder. Would've settled for a Nolan DC universe but that's not an option anymore.

A universe where all the heroes quit after a couple of years? They wouldn't even make it to a JL.

Beyond this movie which I hope will be good, what is the next DC movie franchise.

As I see they have introduced the Flash on the small screen I doubt we will be seeing him on the big screen anytime soon. At first I was not a fan of the idea of introducing Batman into the franchise as I would have preferred a story focused solely on superman and his villians, but now I see that WB made the right move to bring in Batman and capatilize on his success with out having to reintroduce the character again years later

Having said that I would like to see DC develope some other character for the next franchise a new GL or my personal favorite Aquaman

It will probably be marvel. Captain America is cool and all that, but he can't go up against a movie like this with so many anticipated DC characters coming together for the first time. It would be like putting Dark Knight Rises against the Avengers.

I wouldn't go as far as comparing Captain Americas popularity to Batman. Not saying anything about the quality of films but Batman is the staple DC character. Iron Man is Marvel (films) staple character.

It would probably be more like MoS 3 (if he had a proper sequel with no other heroes) to Avengers or something like that.

It is so extremely ironic and kind of hilarious how Nolan was seen as the savior of DC and the savior of the batman Franchise....

While now his touch is pretty much ruining not only DC movies like MOS but other heroes around as well, Everything has to be gritty and "Tactical" now, Everyone wants some of that sweet sweet TDK Nolan money...

I am not denying he did fix the Batman movies with Batman Begins after Batman and Robin, But it is funny now how everything else seems to be so affected in a negative way

Alot of it is done for lolz, no one can't deny just how awesome BB/TDK are, a one two punch that lead to one huge disappointment with the 3rd one.

The slippery slope did start with TDKR.

yeah like I said I will not deny the great impact that Batman Begins had. It changed everything. Dark Knight is in my top 20. But now the Nolan legacy is having such a negative effect now it is kind of hilarious.

MOS was great to watch because seeing the complaining online was really entertaining. That's why if Justice League fails, for me it is still a win just to see people explode... again

I think only the purist and traditional comic book fans which to them these characters are sacred are having trouble adjusting.

Overall the movie needs to appel to a wide range of audience.

We are consumers and the cater to our tastes.

Straw man argument. Marvel has proved that you don't have to drift too far away from the comic, for the general public to accept it with open arms. Warner Bros proved that themselves with the original Superman decades ago.

the problem is that the style doesn't apply to everything, which is why man of steel had so many problems and why fans were so mad
