Just saw the suit and I think it looks great! It's definitely TDKR with the short ears and super larger emblem. This direction to do a aesthetic adaptation of TDKR Bats would definitely separate Affleck from Keaton and Bale.

Aside from the Batmobile, TDKR Bats to me always predates the modern hi-tech Batman. It would be interesting to see how the movie will deal with that. A TDKR Batman with super hi tech gadgets actually sounds kinda lame. Maybe I'm stuck in the 80's.

Love it! It's TDKR, without being blatantly "Hey, we're doing TDKR!" Seems like the suit is the movie's own thing without ripping off too much of others nor deviating from what a Batsuit should look like. Already think the cowl is better than Bale's "mouseman" nose and shape.

What do you think of the suit and Batmobile, Gaspar?

We're on the same page sir, I love everything about it, the texture, the lines reminiscent of the new 52, yet the overall design is also reminiscent of Miller's Bats, I love the huge Batlogo, the cowl and how mean he looks with that frown, I'm just waiting to see it in motion.

The Batmobile, I like it, I still like the TAS and the Burton ones better, but this kinda looks like it took cues from Burton's and even the Arkham Knight one, still can't see the whole thing but I'm not complaining so far, definitely looks compatible with this new Batman.

The Batmobile doesn't look that big of a deal (at least for now) and it kinda looks like a remote control toy buggy to me. Good luck with even trying to wipe the rims on the Burton and TAS Batmobiles, even Nolan was smart enough not to mess with them and do his own take altogether. I seriously doubt this Batmobile is trying to compete with the old ones, I think just like the suit- it's trying to do it's own thing which is commendable.

The suit pretty much looks like a mix of TDKR and New 52 suits. TDKR fat bat and the New 52 short ears and over busy suit design (plus no underwear). They could have done worse, but the Arkham games proved they could have done much better too. Just nice to have a non-black-head-to-toe Batman for once.

In regards to the Batmobile, Snyder sort of pulled a bait and switch on us. I figured we'd see Batman with the car, in some capacity, but the focus was all on Bats today, and it was completely warranted, and I love it, dearly, but, my point is that I just haven't seen enough of the car to be able to judge it, fully. There's like 1/3rd of the car that's still a mystery. We've seen the back, the silhouette (covered by a sheet), and the canopy, but the whole front's something of a guessing game.

You know what? To hell with it. The only way to keep Ledger out of people's minds is to go in a totally different direction. Since we already have Affleck as Returns Bats, basically, I vote we go older for Joker. Willem Dafoe or David Bowie for that creepy, psychosexual Returns Joker, if we ever see the character.

Yeah, those 2 are untouchable so far, but this kinda feels like the next best thing for me.

It's a real fan service this suit, in a very good way.

I think it's too soon man, they need to start showcasing different Batman villains, my wild dream is that we can see the Talon with this Batman, or Deathstroke.

But remember that this movie will only have Luthor and Metallo.

I wonder where are the Affleck haters now? I only saw very few Affleck haters that commented on the new Batman suit. I'm not a fan of Ben Affleck and I'm not saying that the MOS sequel will be great, but I am one of the few people that don't mind Snyder's casting including Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg. And damn Ben looks freakin' awesome in the suit. He is huge, very muscular very true to the TDKReturns novel. This batman suit made me cry out of Joy. I can't hide the tears in my eyes.[emoji23]

Killer Croc would be great, that would break once for all the chains of realism that everybody wants to keep Batman tied with.
