Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Looks to me more like a screen version of Jim Lee Batman more than TDKR Batman.

Actually the closest comic match is the TDKR inspired ******* batman from All star Batman by Jim lee :lol

Batman-Robin-George-Clooney-Hero-Batman-Sonar-Ice-Cowl-2.jpg

is interesting to see that he got paid 10 million for Batman and robin :lol

he got paid only $250,000 for Dusk Till Dawn before that. :lol Poor George
Also the other actor they wanted if Clooney said no was David Duchovny

Arnold got paid 25 Million which is more than $1 million per minute of screentime.

The suit pretty much looks like a mix of TDKR and New 52 suits. TDKR fat bat and the New 52 short ears and over busy suit design (plus no underwear). They could have done worse, but the Arkham games proved they could have done much better too. Just nice to have a non-black-head-to-toe Batman for once.

Not entirely true, it's questionable whether they could've reproduced that suit in real life.

Having slept on it a night I have to say I'm pretty definitely a bit bummed out by how Millery it is. But He's probably gonna be awesome nonetheless and I have faith that Snyder has a good eye for what fits stylistically into the world he's building.

Also, lot of people probably gonna go nuts for me even saying it, but I seriously want Bradley Cooper for the next Joker. (He'd have to slim down but I'm sure he'd commit to that.)

I only just realised but, the cape doesn't seem that clothlike to me... It has a leathery texture and it has the same texture as the cowl...

Maybe they've found a new fabric to make that out of to truly give him that comic book mobility?:dunno

What an awesome toy this will make. Cause I like toys. I collect toys. I've been coming to this site for years to talk about toys.

Oh...what?

I'm not allowed to talk about the toys of this Batman that will exist as certainly as the sun will rise tomorrow?

Hey whatever. You guys got sticks up your butt to keep relevent conversation out of the toy forum. So I'm guessing this will be deleted too.

Guess I better stick to only discussing the movie. You know, the movie we know LESS about than the inevitable toy?

What's the matter...does this little movie section not get enough traffic? I usually discuss movies on movie sites. I discuss high end collectibles on this site.

Oh while you're at it, I posted a picture of a rare jigsaw puzzle in the anime section last month...you guys might wanna delete it before someone gets offended and confused.

Wow. So you posted about the Batfleck picture in the action figure section. Understandable mistake. Others did it too and it got moved here or deleted. No big deal. Seriously--it was no big deal. People corrected you for it in that thread, and rather gently let you know about the movie forum. But you make it sound like you were attacked or flamed for it, when that just wasn't the case. Chill.

How bout Matthew mcconoughey as joker. Pretty sure he'll commit too.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Matthew Should be Batman period.

That dude can act now. Joker should get a rest for the time being.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

That would be a pretty good casting.

But I hope to see other Batman villains first. Clayface could rock on the big screen.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Looks good. Not a fan of the logo but as long as the acting/story/directing/FX are good then I can over look small design elements.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Be great if the released toys of these figures now, before the movie ruins everything.

:lol

Yeah, thinking of the same thing. I really like the suit the first time I saw it. I hope Hot Toys is already planning designing this.

No. Matt has a lisp. That would drive me nuts. Especially since you just stare at his uncovered exposed mouth.:lol Good actor. Not the best choice IMO. I was hoping for a more obscure actor.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Batfleck looks fine to me. But it will take more than that to make the movie worth a damn. Like Rory says, the quicker they release figures the better IMO. I fear I'll be so turned off after the movie that I won't want to bother with the toy, even if it is a great Batman design, on par with Begins Batman.

How bout Matthew mcconoughey as joker. Pretty sure he'll commit too.

Look at this guy. If you give Bradley the classic Joker look he's gonna be creepy as ****. Guy's a great actor in both comedy and drama, understands both. Can go berserk but can act subtly as well. Forget that he's usually muscular, he's the only guy I know who I can see upstaging Heath at this point. (Unless you wanna go older like DaFoe.) He's perfect for it imo. He's actually a good impersonator as well, so he's good at voice work. They picked him for Rocket for a reason I'd say.

I don't really know anyone for MatMac to play. Don't really think he fits into Batman's world, other than maybe Nolan's version of it all.
