She's probably honored she got the role, but it's an extreme amount of pressure, and I'm sure it's not fun to get ridiculed ever second. No matter what she says, or how enthusiastic she acts, FANS of will rip her apart. Ironically those low-lifes are the ones who claim to know what's good for such a noble and compassionate character, like Wonder Woman. I would hold absolutely nothing against her.

I was just on my way to shooting at LA. I landed at NY in a connection flight when my agent, Hadas Lichtenstein, called me. She says to me “Wonder Woman!” and I’m like “What??” – “The role is yours!…and it’s a secret and the news are not yet announced and you can’t tell anyone…”. I’m saying to her “Are you serious??”- and we both scream! Now it’s a plane from Israel to NY and I can’t make loud noise, and so I lean on a window, bending down to my legs, and just try to understand. Long story short – I was totally alone in NY, I got to a hotel at 12am, I needed to wake up in the morning for shootings. I remember laying in the darkness by myself, staring at the ceiling, and I was telling myself “It’s not real!”…it shouldn’t be like that, I’m supposed to be like… “where’s the champagne?”.

Seems to me she's really excited to play Wonder Woman and at first she couldn't believe she got the part. Not sure where you're seeing this arrogance. If you mean her response to a question about fan criticism, I think she handled that fine.

From what I've seen she has a nice personality.

Something about Gadot rubs me the wrong way, figuratively. She comes off somewhat arrogant to me. I know it's a cliche bs thing to say but she comes off a bit... Too casual with being chosen for this part. It's honestly a great honour to land such a part as such an unknown actor and though I'm sure it's to her credit, it remains a massive lottery ticket. Of course she's not allowed to do muchpress but... Baring in mind it's just a dodgy first impression, she doesn't come across that sympathetic to me.n

But I hope, and try to assume, that's just a lack of knowing her really.

Didn't you see her tweet about being happy about being cast as Wonder Women. (Yeah wonder WOMEN, I didn't write that typo )

She thought she was playing wonder women

her casting was totally a Stunt casting. they are probably not thinking about her acting or anything but like a publicity stunt

besides, Hot actresses tend to be arrogant. Just look atScarlett Johansson she is as arrogant as she is hot I guess all that attention and people lusting after you will boost your ego after a while

Exactly. Most of this failed directors/actors posting on here haven't even been outside of the state they live in. Let alone speak another language.

i don't know, i found it funny that she probably had countless meetings, she probably was shown the comics, she was shown the tv show. she had to sign papers with the name wonder woman on it, probably went to google it who knows how many times.
And she makes that mistake .

Wow! I completely agree with you! Currently, I think they are both doing great jobs. Once Charles Soule took over the Superman/Wonder Woman book, Superman has been good, and then when Greg Pak took over Action Comics, I thought it was one of the best ongoing Superman titles in like 20 years. As good as Geoff John's Green Lantern was, this is the first time Hal Jordan's character is interesting to me, and this is my favorite Green Lantern story ever! I never was interested in Wonder Woman stories, but I absolutely love her now, and am blown away by the beautiful art! The new Animal Man and Swamp Thing, are characters who I knew zip about, and now I want to check out their old stuff. While there have been many bumps, I think they deserve praise. I wish they would have fully rebooted it as well, because it made a big mess of a lot of things. There is a lot I hate, but that got me into Marvel, when the only thing I read was Stan Lee and Chris Claremont's X-Men and some Spider-man. And they say good can't come from hate! Ha! Frank Miller/Brian Bendis/Ed Brubaker's Daredevil is my proof! There's so much old DC that would carry me for multiple life times anyways, so I can't complain.

I like WW a lot and this new 52 run has been fantastic, also WW/SUperman has been really god, the Zod/Faora arc.

Swamp thing I've been meaning to read, I've read really good things about it.

I remember how I used to hate the new Batman and Superman suits, but Capullo and Rocafort respectively have made me LOVE them, they make them look soo good.
